So sorry to hear that, at least if you can see any positive in it your baby didn't have to suffer long.

My siamese is almost 11. I've had him since I was 19. I can't imagine what life would be like w/o him.

peedy 07-28-2010 09:16 PM

losing a pet is no different than losing a human member of the family, i grieved worse and longer over my dog than anybody other than my dad.

my sympathies to you for you loss.

RIP Roxy.

I will never forget the time I woke up with her curious face about an inch from my sleeping one.

~hugs to you and Miss Tracy~

I hear ya. I'm not a fan of cats n the first place but Roxy was different. Sad to hear this news.

Love to Tom, Tracy, and the kids.

Sorry for your loss Tom, I feel with you. Last year my cat "Lucky" died, which I had for almost 17 years.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words...
It was a rough day all around...

Im sorry for your loss.

munki 07-29-2010 09:13 AM

Sorry for the loss man... Now is probably not the time, but soon it will be. I am a firm believer in the replacement pet. The hole in the heart left by a passing friend can be shallowed down a little by a nice trip to the local rescue and helping another find a good home.

pornguy 07-29-2010 09:18 AM

Really sad. I have an aging dog that I worry about.

:(

LAJ 07-29-2010 10:02 AM

It's never a happy time when you loose a pet, but digging the hole for a horse is a lot of work

This is why you need a friend with a backhoe.

Meloman 07-29-2010 01:12 PM

Sorry for your loss. Pets are like family.

I had to put my dog down in December. I still can't walk by certain parts of my home without being reminded of her.

Holly Lez! 07-29-2010 01:16 PM

So sorry for your loss! It is never easy loosing a pet
