No part of classic liberalism, ever... relates to anything that conservatives think today or actually do. Other than maybe the idea of limited government, but it's not like other groups/parties don't think that way. The rest of of it's values, do not match up or related to current conservatives at all. However, it exactly matches the social ideals of modern liberalism - which is vastly different than what conservatives think.
