its not just obama, its the entire govt...

until people feel enough pain, this is the road we will continue on..

i cant believe the economists continue to base economic recovery on principles of the depression..

total fucking idiots... we are a global economy now with a greater population than ever before.. the old models dont work and should not be referenced..

with that being said, i am loving this failing economy as well as the rest of my friends with cash..

there are so many opportunities in real estate right now it's ridiculous..

and i'm not talking about long term investments here.. there are houses in my area that sold for $100-$150k 3-5 years ago that the bank is letting go for $20-$30k.. most of them need about $15-$25K in repairs, but they are being flipped for $30-$50k profit after 2-3 months..

the only downside is that you have one day to pull the trigger. these houses are showing up on the market and being sold the same day.. all to investors... the banks want cash deals right now, no financing...

i just grabbed another place out of foreclosure for $60k cash that sold for $255k in 2007....

so, i do thank mr obama and the congress for that... :thumbsup

Some Americans that follow opinion articles may think Obama is slipping.... but that doesn't mean those same people have 'any' faith in the GOP. That's how you know he'll get reelected.

No, the economy was dead when Obama took office. He's just kicking it around a little to see if it twitches.

thank you, people dont realize the banking system almost collapsed.Sen Burr got so scared shitless after being briefed by hank paulson he told his wife to pull as much cash out of atm's as possible because they thought the whole bank system was going to fall off the cliff.
The right cant give him any credit because they know their history.A 40 yr dem congress so they fight everything and give credit for nothing. They were for something Barry said good idea then they were all against it.
Healthcare this socialist scheme,it was the dole response to the clinton healthcare plan in the 90's. now its treason.

68 % of americans are in favor of bending the constitution to remove the mosque from NYC.

Right now I think the country is so polarized, no policitians could ever get good ratings. The republicans are making it impossible in congress for anything to make sense.

The economy was dead when Obama took office. The guy isn't no baby Jesus with magical powers. I'm not defending it, but I'm just saying that it dosen't make sence to hate him right now, not yet.

god you fucking morons are a piece of work. i'm a fucking republican and i'm not hanging the guy out to dry. do any of you idiot expect him to fix this mess in even two terms, let alone a year and a half. god you are all dense.

Your posts would have meaning if obama wasn't doing the exact opposite of what most economists think he should be doing.

You're a stupid human being GatorB, we've all established that. Nobody claimed Palin or McCain can do better. Why is it that you moronic liberals go on the defensive when we criticize the epic fail of Obama? As soon as it happens, we get a "well conservatives/bush suck!!!" That's not even the topic. I'm sure McCain wouldn't have done better but if he was elected, you morons would be peddling your bullshit here. But you get mad when someone does it to you.:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

Every post you make on this board brings up vomit in my mouth.

It's people like you make the great case for eugenics and mass termination of humans from this planet, you're so fucking ignorant, it's to the point where you just don't deserve to live
( for the record, I'm speaking of ALL your posts, not just the ones in this thread )

If McCain/Palin were in charge, things would be no better... but guess what, McCain and Palin were never going to be in charge, ever .. Makes ya wonder about a country where the 2 choices were a Black man intent on destroying the country in the name of charge, and a fucking CORPSE...

fucking moron.

fucking moron.

But see, here's the thing. They weren't the only choices. Yes, they won their parties nominations, but in the end there were other candidates. Those odd independents aside, each side had about 8-10 (maybe even more) candidates that were running. But nobody voted for them. The reason is people are lazy. People don't really want chance and they want to be spoon fed otherwise more people would have done research on the other candidates and they might have actually voted for them in the primaries.

So they weren't the two ONLY choices, they were the two choices that had the best marketing campaign.

It's kind of sad...McCain in semi-senility won a nomination that he should have won 8 years previously when he had a fuller mind and was overall a better leader, back then losing it to the shitstain that was Dubya, this time winning it over better candidates like Ron Paul. It's almost like people voted for him as the GOP nomination this time around as a consolation to the presidency he could have had if the retard hadn't beat him 8 years earlier (then again, who knows...Gore could have won, and sadly we'd probably have been better off anyways).

I'm not convinced that Obama won't be re-elected. Look at Bush in '04...a lot of the country would have been fine with voting for anyone but him...until the shitty choice of John Kerry became the only other choice.

That's what sucks about this country...even if someone does a completely shitty job, there's no guarantee they'll lose their job, because the other choice(s) offered up could at least appear to be much worse. We'll never know if McCain would have done a better job than Obama, but one thing was for sure - the vast majority of Americans were scared shitless imagining Palin as president, and McCain's choice of her as VP put that thought into everyone's minds. It may have given him a tiny boost at first, but it then buried him. Gee, sounds like all the measures being used to try and better the economy. :(

Just the opposite. Obama (and the 200 Little Obamas in Congress) is responsible for killing the economy with tax and spend and corruption and uncertainty.

Sure kid. That's what they said when Gore lost to Bush.

Obama is the WORST president we have ever seen, that I have ever known in my lifetime. He is a fucking joke and I am GLAD I DID NOT VOTE FOR HIM!

I CANNOT WAIT TILL HE IS GONE.. HOWEVER THAT WILL PLAY OUT.

SAD SAD SAD

SAD politics are the way they are where the parties no longer care about any of us, only their extremist positions. Right now I believe political parties are preventing the economy to rebound... I have even heard some say they will not do anything, invest, build, grow until a republican is back in office. Those people don't deserve to be Americans, to allow the nation to suffer to win an election is SAD.

Sad Bush grew the government more than any president in history
Sad Bush increased our debt more than any president in history
Sad some people now are trying to rewrite history... used to work

Sad Obama has no backbone
Sad Obama like all before him will not secure our borders
Sad Obama plays to other countries as much as he does
Sad now people blame Obama for the debt we are in...
Sad now people blame Obama for big government...
SAD because he has enough shit that he should be blamed for without trying to pile on shit he didnt have anything to do with.

I am not a Republican, I am not a Democrat, I am not a Tea Bagger and I find the libertarian party to be ignorant as well. What is left? None of them give a damn about us, only their own special interest groups. Follow the dollar.

Why is it people want to be extreme to one side or the other?

Healthcare... I see as a national security issue, a sick country is a weak country. Solution??? there really is only one but to do it the way it was done was ignorant. Call me a softy even, I hate seeing anyone getting sicker because they cannot afford healthcare. Our nation is better than that!

Taxes, too fucking high, BUT could be fixed, if we the people would make them stop the bullshit. Make votes simple, one item only, no adding pork after the votes like Bush did and I expect others have too. No voting on a bill called one thing and loaded with buillshit to play political games. Then look at a better system.

Our borders and immigration, secure our borders. Deport as found. Stop insulting the Americans that came here the right way and worked hard to become Americans. We take more immigrants than any nation on the planet already, if people wont come legally throw their asses out, simple. Of course all parties have allowed this for years to keep wages low.

McCain, I had high hopes till he got stupid and selected Palin for vp, nothing wrong with a woman in office, just the lack of real thought put into his selection. As someone said, shame he didnt run instead of Bush. Since he lost he has become even more wormy.

Obama, I saw him as a bit of a racist based on many items like his preachers words, that he claimed to never hear. I know some folks sleep through church but come on, BS. I think it even shows in his administrations recent actions to fly off the handle and force someone to resign before actually getting the facts. Without any spin at all the knee jerk response said a lot. Yes as many see on the boards, racism is alive and well, but please do not try to make it like it only goes one way. We need Debate some claim, BULLSHIT, get over it, forget it and let the next generation move forward without it. Continuing the "debate" continues the problem, that goes to all sides and races.

We need to end professional politicians, it was never the intent of our nations founders to have people who are politicians as a career. Term limits for them all, not just the president. It might be nice to also end paying them their salary for the rest of their lives that is something I only recently became aware of. They had the job and got paid, no longer in office, let them get another fucking job, I owe them nothing.

In general takebackthehill.com could be something that might interest some of you.

Consider this, most of the big problems on the planet come from extremist, religious or otherwise.

Good Luck to us all..... we all need it no matter what side of things you are on.

That's one position.
The intelligent position is that the TV cameras folloW plain around so why not use her?
If you spent the time to investigate the tea party, you'd see that they are issue oriented and supported by intelligent people who understand that the US is in a death spiral
