The temperatures in Moscow reaching 100F is apparently caused by the US, HAARP program.

The Pentagon was not immediately reachable for comment.

If Anthropogenic Global Warming existed and the evidence was incontrovertible that it would cause devastation, as many say, then governments around the world would not be proposing this and that legislation, slowly passing laws and trying to work out treaties. Obama would be signing Executive Orders and the leaders of every major nation in the world would be doing the same thing.

I'm so tired of this.

People, stop believing what clowns say. Pickup a copy of PopSci or Discover once in a while and READ.

Humans are not the only Green house gas creators. Cars, Factories and Coal burning plants produce millions of tons of this every day, as do most animals such as Pigs and Cows (Methane).

CLIMATE IS NOT WEATHER. Snow in Texas or sub zero temperatures in New York is not a sign that the earth is getting cooler. Stop talking about the two as if they are the same thing. THEY ARE NOT.

The AVERAGE TEMPERATURE OF THE ENTIRE EARTH is rising. The average temperature in the Arctic ranges from +14 to +50 degrees F in the summer, and -40 to +32 degrees F in the winter. Water freezes at 32 Degrees F. Normally, over the course of a year, and every year, the ice caps grow and shrink by a little bit during the year.

Lately, with the CLIMATE GETTING WARMER, the Arctic and Antarctic circles are staying a little warmer, a little longer, causing more glaciers to melt, faster. The worlds oceans too are warming up.

More Melting means higher water levels, means more floods, damage, lost crops, more disease. Warmer oceans means the death of coral and other marine life necessary for the food chain. Warmer oceans could also mean a drastic change in weather patterns.

People who are Global Warming deniers are insane. Yes of course greenhouse gases occur naturally too by sources such as Volcanos, but so what? Since we are one of the causes of Greenhouse gases, we should take responsibility to keep them down. Today's scientists are smart enough to know that there is a problem and are sounding the alarms. People need to stop being AFRAID of what they have to say and find bullshit reasons to dismiss them, and start taking real action to save our planet.

well the deniers have adapted to not disagreeing with global warming, but put doubt on whether its man-made or not

and any scientist in the world will agree that we need more information on whether humanity is responsible for the planet getting warmer.

You're basing your claim on temperatures which have been manipulated as shown in the original post as well with the climategate scandal. Also they have been measuring the ice in East Antartic which is prone to decrease and not the West which is (and is even more) increasing.

In addition the Northern Hemishpere is getting warmer and the Southern Hemishpere is getting cooler.. WHich has to do with the Earths rotation and alignment with the moon, sun, etc.. Not Co2.

But the monthly charge keeps getting less and less, right? Oh.. it doesnt? It actually gets more and more? Fuck.

oh well, I guess I'll jam my fingers in my ears and say LA LA LA LA because EVERYONE knows that solar doesnt work.

She NEVER recouped the cost. The tech doesn't last for generations.. You have to replace it.. In fact I believe it was around 10 years later the panels were disconnected and a regular water heater was installed. Maybe saving her a total of $3-4k in electricity over that time.

I apologize for calling you a loony earlier--you're obviously an accomplished climate scientist.

Perhaps you could now show off your economist chops and tell us how the economy can be stimulated and the deficit reduced by cutting taxes. Thanks.

I know you're being sarcastic but heree ya go..

In 1913 what is know as the Federal Reserve Act was passed. The people of the US wanted their money out of the hands of the Wallstreet bankers. So what the bankers did was create this entity and gave it a "Federal" name to make the public believe it was federal. The reality is it is and was a private entity. Up until WWI the US only owed around 1 million in gold of debt. We were led iinto said war to amass debt. In a matter a few years the debt increased to 25 million in gold.

The bankers wanted their paper printing securitized so in 1921 the treasury was handed over in much the same way as the banking system. They unleashed the printing presses making a boomtime in the 20's much like they did in the 2000s. Eventually pulling the plug in 1929 much like they did in '08. By 1933 the US as you know it was declared bankrupt. Roosevelt seized all the peoples gold to repay said debt. In order to protect himself and the others in Washington from a revolt he also declared the American people enemies of the STATE. Since said time the US has been ruled under a secret military dictatorship under a maritime/admiralty jurisdiction.

Fix all that and your problems are solved. Beginning with abolishing the Federal Reserve. Congress doesn;t have to borrow money and pay interest on said money..

Oh much like how my city spent all that money to power 5 houses and they sell it back to the energy supplier who then sells it to someone else?

I see how that works.. Knew it before you even started..

So having clean air and water is a bad thing and getting off oil is bad? Did you think maybe its not Al gore making money on this but the oil companies pushing bad info to decredit it all because they have alot to lose. China is using solar already for public transportation, I dont think Al is an important voice there.

Of course having clean air and water is not a bad thing. "Getting off" oil this century is probably impossible though. It is required for so many things no one (not even you) wants to give up.

You need petroleum to produce solar panels.

Also, going into the next couple decades China will need unprecedented amounts of energy to support their enormous population. Currently China imports 1/3rd of it's oil. That figure will likely increase to 50% or more by 2020. Using alternative sources of energy and limiting their reliance on foreign oil is critically important to them. Unlike the US, who has enough domestic energy sources to not have to import any oil, China has no military presence in oil producing middle eastern countries. This is also why China has maintained relations with Iran.

I apologize I read what you wrote wrong. I congratulate them on doing it so cheaply. But as you know this is government we're talking about here. Spending tax dollars and giving friends contracts doesn't equal cheap or being on a family budget. Jimmy-3's is a great example of that.. He won't mention the costs and says it was all free.. Free to the college maybe but my guess is tax dollars paid for it. And as he admitted the energy produced is sold to the power company and then sold to the consumer. We all know that government is going to want their cut. In addition once they start noticing they aren't receiving their cut off of all this "free energy" down the road they'll come in and say you have to pay taxes on your use of the sun. They are already doing it to farmers who are using rain barrels.

While that may be true the focus of the problem is finding out how much does man's influence have on that natural cycle.

The industrial age is a little over 100 years old and there is no disputing that has caused abnormal amounts of CO2 to enter the atmosphere. The question is how much EXTRA CO2 can the earth handle before the scales are tipped in the delicate balance of that natural cycle.

Let's say your car is earth and your closed garage is the atmosphere. Your car sits there parked for years and you can go in the garage even though CO2 is present and be perfectly healthy because nature has a way of balancing things out.

Then one day you start up the car and let it run. This adds an abnormal amount of CO2 and it's way too much for nature to handle naturally. The end result is the garage is no longer inhabitable.

So increased Co2 won't lead to increased oxygen? Plants use Co2 and they emit O2 so.... ya.. When growing indoors its very helpful to yield and growth in general to add Co2 to the room environment.

Dude, it's the CO (Carbon MONOXIDE) that would make the garage uninhabitable NOT the CO2 :error

I had CO2 on my mind and misspoke when I said the car would produce it instead of carbon monoxide however, my example was to illustrate what happens when you add abnormal amounts of anything into a balances environment.

Those who deny it are backing their claims with citations.

The question is how much can you add before the plants die.

You can see that deforestation is taking place. Chopping down south america will take away an important source of O2 and building 1,000 coal burning factories and adding another 100 millions automobiles in the process begins to upset the balance that nature has managed to keep for a few million years.

It's just basic common sense.

The Earth goes through cycles every 12ish years, scientists know exactly how these cycles work and what they do to the average temperature of the Earth.

What climate chance scientists do is replace the slowly declining numbers with an adjustment, as the Earth is currently going through the 'cold' stage of its cycle. What we see when we look at average temperate trends after adjustment is an increase in the average temperature of the Earth.

This process of heating and cooling due to planetary positioning and ocean heat levels has been known and understood for a very long time - at least, a long time before climate change was considered an issue.

Please don't respond until you do some research and actually learn a thing or two about climate change. You're nothing more than a 6 year old child putting his fingers in his ears and making a loud noise.

Climate change is real, and if you'd do a little research into the science behind it, [B]you would actually understand what the fuck you were talking about.
