You know, The Murmurs put out their first CD, where that vid comes from, and I fell instantly in love with them. Then, two years later, kd Lang starts munching the short-haired one and then produces their 2nd album. Well, DAMN kd FUCKED IT ALL UP! She tried to make them more 'grunge' and 'serious', instead of the bubblegum stuff they were perfect for (they were only 21 at the time). Well, their 'grunge sound' was fucking ridiculous so MCA dropped them, they broke up, kd left....what a mess. But if you find their FIRST CD anywhere, simply called 'The Murmurs', there are some insanely catchy pop gems on there (all written by them) that will never, ever get outta your head. I hadn't heard "You Suck" in fifteen years and knew every word. LOVE IT!!!!!
