I hit him via messenger and not the phone the next day and that wasn't acceptable to him and refused to do any biz with me ever. meh... What can you do?

Pete has been making gay comments to me for years and not matter what angle I took it was relentless. Im a pretty good sport about it but 4 years of gay this gay that your gay always at the wrong times and in front my my peers.

At the Phx from 3 years ago he went on the attack again mentioning to a bunch of people in front of me that I don't pick up my phone and im hard to work with then a gay comment. I broke the first time I told anyone outside my close circle of friends to FUCK OFF.

It felt good.. real good.

I never would have guessed you were racist against ewoks.

How much money is owed??

And if you really want to get him in his new business, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. It would suck for him if 30+ web-masters filed a bunch of fucked up complaints. Just sayen.

Good luck with the collections.:thumbsup

If you got ripped off then I suggest filing a factual report at Ripoffreport.com. I suggest using his real name and naming his other businesses for maximum effect. That site tends to rank very well in the SER and from what I gather they will not easily cave in and remove a report.

Doing this sort of thing also helps to make other program owners think twice before doing a "take the money and run."

I think you're confused. Either that or there's something I don't get about the way collection agencies work in the states.

Most collection agencies have lawfirms on retainer to take it to the next level should collection attempts fail. Although court fees and the percentage shoot up quite a bit when this happens.

I was going to buy mobbucks back in the day. For next to nothing of course. But so Mikey Dice came to me with this contract written up by Pete that said I would need to point traffic to Satan cash for a year, and that I could not make a formal announcement about the purchase. I sent that contract back with more red ink than a term paper a d told Mikey "who does this little owok think he is?" then I was thinking of buying Satan cash just to shut it down and bury it.

They used to be friends, but pretty sure Pete burned that bridge long ago.

Along with all the others.

So no of them came to his defense? No C-Love, Juicy or anyone?

Unless you want to get served for libel, I would advise making only factual statements. Pete is not a customer of MojoHost for a very long time. When he was a hosting customer, he was billed for service in the same fashion we do everyone else. We were friends for a long time, however, we never partnered in anything and were never involved in each others business. The desk he had my office was gratis. Any further statement or insinuation disparaging my business practices or character will be handled by my lawyer. I have *never* tried the substance reference and find your comments deeply offensive.

My personal life is nobody's business and I haven't contributed to the various threads as I would rather focus on positive energy and endeavors. I am, of course, disappointed and embarrassed. On a business level, probably owed more than most. I wish everyone the best of luck with their endeavors, Pete included. If things work out for him I would hope to see him make amends with everyone.

I'm curious why you bumped a two-month old thread out of the blue?

This is funny. Not saying mike o is a scammer. Just a funny comment and the timing. About a week before the epassporte fiasco?

18teens 10-23-2010 07:08 PM

That address is only a couple miles from me. I wonder if he's still in business.

Oh shit, honest accident. Surfing on my phone and did the bimonthly search on Mojo to see if I missed any threads.
