https://www.sknanb.com/ [St. Kitts-Nevis Anguilla National Bank Ltd website]
On 15 February 1971, St. Kitts-Nevis Anguilla National Bank Ltd., (National Bank), was issued a certificate of incorporation. On that historic date only two other countries in the English speaking Caribbean had indigenous full service commercial banks. Those countries were Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago. The twin island federation of St. Kitts and Nevis was the third territory in the region to establish an indigenous full service commercial bank. By 1977 National Bank had become the largest bank in St. Kitts-Nevis with respect to total deposits, total loans and advances, total assets, total income, and net profit. Today National Bank is the largest banking institution, whether indigenous or foreign, in the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, with regard to the principal financial indicators stated above. This remarkable accomplishment was achieved by the foresight and forward planning of Directors, the commitment and competence of Staff, the favor of Customers, and the trust of shareholders. The solid foundation laid in the beginning and the strong superstructure built thereon, make National Bank institutionally safe, financially sound, and operationally profitable. National Bank has not just survived; National Bank is an unqualified success. The future of National Bank is secure. National Bank provides top quality service to the national and international communities, and makes sterling contributions to nation building. The Bank is committed to the diligent pursuit of its twin objectives of expanding its customer base and increasing its market share. National Bank adheres to its social engagement to be a responsible and exemplary corporate citizen. National Bank will not leave anything to chance, not take anything for granted, as it strives to maintain its position as the foremost sub-regional banking institution. |

This is a Visa/ePassporte issue not a bank/ePassporte issue
|
This is really bad situation for some of us. My problem seem little after seeing such big figure.
Hope you get your money soon. |

Please see the statement by Mr. Mallick: Please be advised that, at 12:00 PM PDT today, September 2, 2010, we were notified that effective immediately, Visa International has suspended our banking partner?s (St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank) ePassporte Visa program. does not say the bank on this particular program. |
Quote:
that's clear.... now, WHY did they suspend it (i'm assuming this is being kept quite for a reason) and what's the possibility and timeframe of gaining access to funds? i think those answers would pretty much kill all these threads. |

Bomber, this was what I was thinking first "good most of my money was in my wallet". The $100 question, will anybody be able to actually wire out or transfert to US bank to get some money out? I sent a wire request today, I bet you that next week they will start telling me it wasn't handled yet because they are getting to many requests. Of course the real reason will be that ALL of their money probably got locked. I really hope I'm wrong, if anybody was able to wire out or send to US bank successfully from wallet since Sept 3rd please post here! No matter if Visa or a bank is in cause here, they certainly knew this would cause Epass to lose 90% of its biz overnight. I would really like to know what Epassporte did to deserve this, they were certainly warned many times about "something bad" the were doing. Now how could I continue to trust them? If this official release is really true, they will have to sue for a couple of millions. |

Stupid stupid stupid |

Shit, can't you borrow from anyone until they resolve this? So, if it's not a VISA issue and we been lied to.. hm not very reassuring. With a name like Mallick, what do u expect. Is he a Paki or something who eats spicy food all the time? |
To have more than $1 with those jokers is retarded let along more than $1,000.
Looks like the karma wheel is having its turn at tax cheats. |

Our money is protected in bank by insurance. While there are limits PER PERSON PER BANK, there are an unlimited amount of banks to work with. Know what you are talking about before you post.:1orglaugh |
who will reach the source !!!
Again , sorry for my english
Thankyou for your post !!! I hope situation will be clarify very soon .. but I got some new devellopement already !! I talk to different epassport employe .. and nobody have no more then the letter send by epassporte that we all already know about!! No body search or reach the source of this matter..... Why International visa cut off ? Why when I phone internation visa.. they said their dont cut off ? Why all employed of epassport know nothing about that .. they said in the next day they will have a meeting about that .. WOW ..... for now epassporte pay TOM-TOM guy over the phone to tell us : DONT WORRY .. DONT WORRY .....your money is safe |

Wouldn't be some shit if the money (or some of it) was used to fund that damn movie and now that the movie is a bust there is no money coming back to replace the money??? i know its far fetched but wouldn't that be some shit, movie made about the industry paid for by almost everyone in the industry. Would suck if that was true. Hope it works out for everyone!!! The timing is right at least. Coincidence i guess ? |

You have no clue what you are talking about. I wouldn't put over 300K in the same bank, but 300K or less in the same account is 100% FINE in the US. If by some long shot something happens to the bank, the money is insured. |
I hate this. Although I was smart enough to withdraw from my epass account very often. Very seldom let over 1k be there. I very much hope they fix this though cause It's a very good way for me to get paid.

What's a Tom-Tom?
|
Well with stories like this coming out now, I for one am not in the slightest bit surprised that Visa or the visa issuing bank stepped in here.
People walking around with $250k + on a virtual visa card? I can understand sponsors having that much in the wallet pending a payout, but on the virtual visa? Epassporte should have imposed limits of how much could be held. |

Tom Tom what it is ?
To anwser the question ... What is a Tom-Tom .. it's a french expresion for africain people .. who don't really speak english , don't really speak french ..who get 2$ per hour for working 12 hour a day and will said anything for that 2$ Their's are cheap leaber,
cheap worker. When I phone epassport, this look like a call center in India or Africa , and nobody there seem to know the true. even the phone line was cut-off every 1-2 minute...... |

With that kind of cash in there, I would contact an attorney in St. Kitts who specializes in banking. Maybe he/she can cut through some red tape and get to the bottom of it.
