Fact is, if visa says the funds are accessible, it means they are not locked to the prepaid cards. They also certainly do not do live wire transfers between 2 accounts when you move from wallet to vv, because the wire costs would eat them alive. They more likely move money around in a database and do batch wires to move the money from account to account...I of course don't know the internal workings of thier system, but that's how i'd do it anyways... |
Thanks for the update, and good luck with this process!

Thanks Michael!!!!

This question must be answered. Shady situation, maybe its just an excuse so they would keep the money. Ps: if that thursday announcement was going to be good they would say "wait for announcement, it will be good news" or something. So looks like bad news is comming |
Used to be Keyser :(
??? Sabby:) |
If the money is gone, and in fact was used to fund the production of Middle Men, then at least give a copy of the movie to ePassporte account holders (co-investors). That's better than nothing?
Imagine investing all that cash in the movie, and then not even be able to see it at least once. What a pity.. |

May I ask a stupid question??? Why can we not transfer epass visa virtual to a regular visa card? Sabby:) |
I honestly do not know what the announcement will be but we will post and send a message to the message center. I am waiting like everyone else.
Some questions I can not answer or do not know the answer to. Best way to get in contact with me is by emailing me, then I guarantee an answer within 24 hours, ICQ only holds 25-30 offline messages and when I log on I know I missed some offline messages. |

when we should expect announcement, in how many hours ? this will stop us from refreshing this thread every second..

Middle man shows us the middle finger (on GFY, pathetic)!

But some questions I think must be answered and for us customers who have place our trust in Epassporte not getting an answer to a simple question raises a lot of doubts. Hang in there mon ami. |

Notice the first sentence..."At the request of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank (SKNA), on September 2, 2010, Visa blocked network access for prepaid cards issued by SKNA and operated by ePassporte.com to address certain program deficiencies." Read the second paragraph..."?It is important to note that impacted SKNA prepaid cardholders are still able to access their funds through SKNA or SKNA?s agent, ePassporte.com. For more information cardholders should contact SKNA or ePassporte.com." It's my opinion there are some "accounting issues" that occur(ed) once the money is placed into your Virtual Visa account. What those are we may or may not find out. |

when was the last time to physically spoke to Chris? You seem very much out of the loop and when was the last time you were paid, if you don't mind me asking? I find it hard to believe that you would come on here and have no more info than the rest of us. Either you know more and not saying or you will be in the street looking for a job by next week. This silence from Chris is actually more telling than anything. You as spokesman w/ no info is also "telling". I'm also aware of how the movie financing biz works. if in fact CM put up $20m to fund the film, he didn't do it by himself. He would put up 30% cash and some collateral then an investment firm would match it...now if he didn't do that, he's in bigger trouble if he funded project ,solo.. There is NO way this movie will make back any of the money and the studio/investors know it. ..no matter how rich a person may seem to be, it is very possible to become cash poor quickly and cook some books and cause "defiencies" as Visa and bank have claimed. So the money still may be available again, not sudden or we may see chapter 13 so pennies on the dollars can be paid. Movie making is a huge gamble and it's mainly for big companies and hedge fund investors..that's why , even some of the biggest films in history still show it's in the red. ( I have a recent profit print out from last Harry Potter movie..showing it's still in the red) In the end someone needs to tell these people what to expect and when, so there's no more holding onto dreams or false hopes..so everyone on here and go to their "plan-B" if they have one. Answers are needed NOW |

I dont get this crap... they are going to take the rest of the business day to tell us they going out of business, took all of our money and screw you... I dont get it... How's a company that handles thousands of customers and millions of dollars a month acting like the run their business out of the Parents basement...
