I'm sorry Michael.. nothing personal, but are you fucking kidding me? 21 hours ago you said we'll be updated with more information regarding the resolution to all this within the next 10 hours, so WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!!!

Time to plan the funeral on this one, sadly.

What the hell do you expect when people like you just keep on ringing and ringing asking the same questions over and over.. why don't you just sto pwasting their time and let them get on with what they need to do.. It would probably have been done by now if it wasn't for all this harrasment.

Anyone got a feeling that they are working really hard to save our funds from us?

chronig 09-10-2010 09:25 AM

A fucking debit card that lets you withdraw anywhere in the world! Issued by your own affiliate sponsors... come on... fun while it lasted but really - that's a lot of laundered tax dollars

Jump on Payoneer while it lasts and make sure to withdraw your funds immediately... don't like banks then stock up on shoeboxes...

They have other people's money. These people have the right to ask questions. Its absurd to say its their fault this happened or that it hasn't be resolved yet. Epass is the one being completely ridiculous and unprofessional in all of this. No one would be speculating, harassing with calls as you say, etc, if they just told us more clearly what was going on more than "in motion funds" and that its "complicated" and they have "no idea why this happened".

People are rightly pissed off. Epass fucked up huge in handling this issue, especially knowing their clientele are routinely burned by sponsor programs for large sums, etc -- obviously they will be as paranoid with Epass.

Phoenix66 09-10-2010 10:13 AM

Yes, it looks more and more like no one will get their money. I just checked - I sent a wire disburstment for the relatively small amount I had on my business account at the same day they blocked cards - it's still not processed. Like they never seen it. Since it was one of the first - I do not believe they did not have time to process it. Thus it seems the words of Michael that they are sending the wires are not true.

Still do not understand why ACH and external card transfers work ok.

Yes people want answers and have a right to them but they all want the same one.. When and how do they get their money.. Epass don't want this avalanche of people all cleaning out their accounts at the same time as that just isn't possible.. If it was done to a real bank, that bank would collapse instantly. They need a fool proof plan to minimise the damage and this takes time.

I think if you are trying to make a point about something you are better sticking to facts. It adds more credibility to what you have to say.

I agree, its all this hysteria thats got me most worried about getting my cash in the end..

There's one telling thing in all of this - Visa and SKNA have been giving out more information to people asking than Epassporte.

The simplest explanation here is not the one you seem to believe.

Agreed. Not giving people a reason is going to give way and feed into wild speculation. Epassporte knows this, so one is left to wonder if the truth of the matter is so grave that the consequences of putting it into writing would cause wider spread panic and breach of trust than saying nothing at all.

If what people are quoting visa as saying is true, the balance sheet showing deposited funds available in the bank in St. Kitts does not match the amount of electronic funds available in the virtual visa accounts, and by so much so that the bank alerted visa and that is what caused the clamp down. Putting it in writing and explaining to us that they may no longer have the funds available equal to the amount of our deposited and accrued account balances will surely cause a faster pull out reaction than rumor alone. I mean, if people think shit is bad now, imagine the reaction to seeing in print that our money is unaccounted for. :Oh crap

This is so depressing.

will76 09-10-2010 11:47 AM

Epass said its just the VV cards that have been suspended by Visa... And money in wallet is safe. People can do wires to get it out. This is what was stated last Friday. It's now a week later and raise your hand if you received a wire and got your money back out of your wallet???

Looks like either epass doesnt have access to any of the money or the money isn't there any more.

I got money out of wallet via ACH. Problem is most of my money is in VV.

Don't worry, the wires are going out, our wire department is just a little backed up right now

If it was via ACH it was coming from a US bank, not the bank affected in St kitts. ACH is different than a bank wire.

Yes, they are working really hard to save your funds FROM you.

Ayla_SquareTurtle 09-10-2010 12:17 PM

Like most people, my hope that this will get resolved has been steadily decreasing.

I think it's pretty much gone now.

I was very lucky in this situation. I feel terrible for the people who lost money. I hope some sort of consensus is reached soon on where to go from here so we can all make the best of things.

How? Lets see...ATM...check...wire - the cardholders will take anything!
When? Since you have the money...NOW!

Since the cards haven't worked in a week. Everything should be settled by now and there are no more "funds in motion". Details solved.

Send a cardholder too much money, and I am sure it will be safe and secure with them and they will return it as quickly as you have been holding it.

Complicated? Please explain the process. It's quite simple unless the way you were working before was broken or government agencies are only letting you release funds after they OK it.

We waited a week for a bullshit announcement, now Michael O said he has stopped monitoring the board. That's a major red flag to me, like he knows the ship is going down.

There are major questions unanswered. Visa and the bank are providing more facts than Epassporte is.

Wires were promised and "are moving" but there is no evidence of ANYONE getting a wire.

My money is fucking gone, your money is fucking gone. Fuck Epassporte and Chris Mallick, time to move on and find a new solution :2 cents:

For ePassporte

That's the part that worries me most of all. And combined with the "we are a week further and still know nothing more" I must admit it's looking really awfull. Not hopefull but still hoping.

surprised he stuck around the boards this long.
