Second, ePassporte is working with the St. Kitts bank to work out how all payments will be made and when.<<<

Michael if Chris is working on ways to get people money to their destination does it mean that visa wont be working longer with epassporte? I mean that you are looking for alternative transfer methods besides very convenient epass card ATM withdrawal?

Michael O 09-09-2010 12:43 PM

We are sending out money via ACH and Original Credits these move faster since its an automated process.
Wires have to be handled manually and all employees are working overtime to send them out as quickly as possible.

How does it currently "cater" to us? It doesn't bloody work at the moment.

The only HAPPY thing from all of this...

Yesterday I requested an ACH into my bank account of the funds I had in my wallet.. Today they are in my account. Go figure...

Michael O: Bring one (1) webmaster here who has got a wire sent to them... screw a big backlog... even with a HUGE backlog at least 1 wire must have gone out.
You keep saying we should wait, but you have yet to state that you have already sent wires... bringing somebody to post proof that they have received a wire would calm people big way.

iBill Update
We just posted this on CMI:

September 29, 2004 iBill Clients: Please know that paying our clients is our highest priority. iBill is continuing to negotiate the release of settlement funds being withheld by First Data in order to pay our clients. In addition to our continued negotiations with First Data, we are working on freeing up additional capital to speed up the remittance of past due payments to our clients.

As you all know, we have been working through the difficult issue of transitioning our domestic IPSP business to our new domestic merchant bank at a pace that was faster than what was initially proposed or had been planned. In order to ensure proper compliance for our US sponsored merchants we will not be accepting Visa transactions until each US sponsored merchant has completed their new iBill merchant agreement with our new domestic bank. All US clients will continue to have the ability to offer MasterCard, Discover, JCB, American Express, Online checks, Web 900 and WebPhone. iBill account managers will have agreements available on Friday, October 1st. Planned implementation is scheduled for as early as Friday, October 8th.

To further clarify, iBill EU clients are not affected by this and will continue to process Visa without interruption.

Going forward, iBill will continue to operate under three business models:

1) iBill Direct US. iBill has an agreement with a domestic association-registered party. This involves processing and settling with a domestic bank. In this model, iBill will sponsor and accept the risk on behalf of our clients. Not only will clients have the ability to take advantage of the iBill products and services that they know today ? 24X7 customer service, risk management, RevShare affiliate program, and password management ? but, they will now be funded directly by the bank and will have the option to be funded daily. We are extremely excited about this program and feel that it puts us steps ahead of our competition.

2) iBill EU. iBill will continue its current processing relationship in the EU. The program services remain the same and will continue to be expanded. We are also moving forward with establishing a direct merchant relationship with our EU processor and bank. This option will be similar to iBill Direct US, which allows for direct funding from the bank.

3) Asia-Pacific Merchant. iBill has established a merchant relationship in the Asia-Pacific region. More details to follow next week.

We appreciate all of the support that our clients have given us over the last few days. We know how serious this matter is to you. Please be assured that everyone here at iBill is working diligently to correct these matters so that we can all return to business as usual.

Sincerely,
Your iBill Team
That BS continued for years and in the end most people were not paid.

I understand that the statement from ePass tried to draw a distinction regarding their business model, but when they cannot tell anyone after a week (4 business days) the simplest reason for the their accounts being frozen, something is not right.

I lost over $30,000 with iBill who "intended to pay", assured me my money was safe, and valued me as a client, and in the end all that they gave me was a worthless promissory note.

I hope all of you fair better than that and can eventually recover your money.

I am certain epassporte is paying people to make positive posts on the situation.

AGAIN, please answer this, how can it be that nobody got even a notification about outgoing wire if all employees are working to send them? You told us that also 2-3 days ago.

Like many on this forum, my main source of income pretty much comes via E-Pass, so this is definitely a bad spot to be in. However, ever since I got some funds stolen from me last year or so (situation E-pass resolved for me, by the way), I keep all my cash on the virtual wallet, which cushioned the blow, even though I am still waiting on my wire, as countless others are. I want to see the glass half full, since I was lucky to have money in the bank at this time, and not all eggs in just one basket, so at least I have some money on my side to pay the bills and buy groceries for the next couple of weeks. I can't imagine how hard it must be for those who got all their funds caught up and can't access their money or have any cash on them to pull through while this situation gets resolved (however that may work out).

Quote:

wire disbursement requests.

Relentless 09-09-2010 12:53 PM

Michael, strictly from a PR standpoint. If you have no news to share, you would have been better off saying something like:

We are working day and night to solve the problem. The reason we aren't posting detailed messages on GFY is that we know people here will parse each sentence looking for hidden meanings or make up false meanings for anything that we communicate - so it really is not helpful for us to give you partial details of the news when we are hopeful that we will actually have complete news available for you soon.

Our primary job is getting your money available for you to use as quickly as possible - so we are allocating all of our time and effort to the task of tracking down every possible method of completing that mission as quickly as possible, rather than taking the enormous amount of time needed to draft pretty memos that mean nothing while your money remains in limbo. We are aware that any message other than 'your funds are now available' is not going to be sufficient to keep our clients happy. Let us get you your money back NOW and we will be glad to talk all about what happened and how we solved it after that important work is completed. Your money is safe, our company is rock solid and as soon as we are able to announce that your funds are available we will be glad to do so.

Saying news will be available tomorrow really created a spotlight that could only backfire...

Michael,

If money on wallet is possible to withdraw, why our withdrawal
request submitted at Friday early morning still not processed?

Why support in business department (Jefrey) tells me - he does not know
when ePassporte will send wire???

I've sent this form many times, money on a business account, on wallet.

User ID: thcompany
Wire request submitted: 3 of September
No payment issued: during 6 days for now.

I will post on board few times a day to inform people if wire still
not issued.

Thank you.

Can ANYONE actually attest to receiving a wire from their wallet. If you all are working on it, there must have been at least 1000 wires sent out from friday no? Where are those people? I know mine's not been processed (and all of my friends), and the funds are in the wallet.

ACH is your checking account. If you have funds in your wallet and not your Virtual Visa, you can withdraw them into your checking account (ACH).
