It's not so much a question of "if they wanted to close shop and keep the money", i think it is very possible that all of the money isn't there. If there was say only 50% of it there, then they could still pay out some of the big accounts,,, you know to people who they don't want to sue them and the same people who would run to GFY and post about how good of a company they are so they could get some good PR. also the same people they don't want to burn bridges with if they had to form a new company in the future. Noo, no none of that makes sense, we are just the "mob" looking for blood.

I might be wrong because i read almost hundred pages of this epass debacle but I think someone mentioned that he also had notification of wire sent and then after few days the money got back in his wallet, account got smashed with "account allert" message and he was told to upload this and that documents...I am too lazy to search it (especially since I have to wait 90seconds between searches wtf) so I might be wrong about smth..

If wires go out then this is really good for getting out money back but might not be good for epass. On the other hand if ACH is working and wires will be sent out then this gives hope so many people will probably leave the money in their wallet and not take all out...

but yeah, I'll believing it when he will actually receive this money...BUT not sending out wires doesnt mean they dont have money or are scamming us - it could mean, and i hope it does, that they are confident to get epass back in track, with visas and all, so they hope that with "stalling" with the wires the people will not request them anymore once the epass gets its functionality back..I sure would go back to normal business...

to the guy that says we should give Chris a chance: I , like many here, were quite positive thinking until the last announcement whcih is really really crappy and raises more questions than answers..I have over 1K in eppas, have of it in wallet and I still didn't request a wire because I am hoping this will get resolved. But damn, they need to update us in far better way than they did with the last statement whcih we are not even sure if came from Chris and if he is even in charge of epass...

This has been said over and over in every thread. No wires have been sent out. ACH has been sent out but no wires.

It's interesting that everybody is bitching but nobody can deny what I wrote in my initial post. Chris is the guy who pulls through when times are tough. I can't think of too many other people in this business with his track record of making sure his clients NEVER lose a penny.

It's Saturday. Nothing yet. I'm expecting to see it probably Tuesday or Wednesday. It has been debited from my epass account.

Btw I should add this was the smaller of the two wires I requested. It amounts to 20% of the money I have in epass. So even once this hits I'm still waiting on my other wire as well as news on my VirtualVisa cash.

I just feel the wires going out is a huge first step. The step we've all been waiting for.

I'm on a much smaller scale and level than Chris is and if I lost half of that I could survive and my business wouldn't skip a beat. Chris has made WAAAAAAY more money than I have. So I don't think Chris has a problem there.

I believe Epassporte is in a tough situation. There are three sides to every story and right now I don't believe the public stories released by either side.

Come on man. This situation has had no positive news in 7 days. Thursday was a major letdown with the press release they issued. After the 7 days we've all endured I think the news that people have been notified that wires went out is FANTASTIC and something that people need and want to hear.

Michael O (before he started hiding) had stated the wires were being processed last Friday. Now a full week later news is starting to trickle out about how some people are receiving notices that their wires have been "sent". If everything is so fantastic why were they lying for a full week? And it doesnt take 7-10 business days to send an international wire. I can go down to my local bank and as long as I have it in by 5pm Eastern the recipient will have it in their account the next morning. Maybe the next day if their bank needs extra time to process (unusual).

And if Chris is such a stand up guy we want fighting "for us" why did he let everyone piss in the wind for a full week before adding his name "for" ePassporte on a statement obviously not written by himself?

NO, the people who requested a wire Friday (8 days ago) was told the wires would be going out last Tuesday. They were waiting to receive their money last Tuesday not be told a week later "now its going out".

What they are really waiting on is to receive their money, not what some reps or customer service people are telling them. Where is the big boss? Why isn't he the one telling people what is going on? Why is he having other people write his shitty press releases???

This is the situation. People who requested a wire were told they wires SHOULD go out Tuesday/Wednesday. That they were waiting to hear from accounting. NO FORMAL notification went out and no wires went out.

Yesterday FORMAL notifications finally went out. BIG BIG DIFFERENCE.

After a week plus of this shit a "real update" would be " I received my wire, the money is back in my bank"

posting that they told you the wire was going to be sent and that you have to wait another 4-5 days to get it is just more lip service until proven otherwise. Not to mention all of the other ass kissing, you never doubted them, Chris is top notch, blah blah bull shit along with your "real update".

I lost $4 due to the mess, mainly cause I would never trust a bank "online" store my cash. But losing Epassporte as a service is a total loss enough for us EU webmasters.

I still have money going into epass from my sponsers not in the virtul visa but into the wallet. I think if they wanted to screw people out of thier money they would have done it years ago.
