On September 2nd a malicious action was launched by a group of unknown hackers that targeted the database of epassporte customers. As a standard procedure, an order had been issued through the SKNA National Bank to block all access to accounts. SKNA contacted VISA and terminated the program until the security issue would have been resolved.

Could be true and could also be why we have to provide so much info now when asking for withdrawals as they don't know which accounts have been compromised (although I don't know what was required before this problem).
But if it was the reason, surely they would of locked account changes (name address email etc), which they haven't, so I'd say its bullshit.
Either way, I'll be contacting epass about every transaction on my account dated Sept 2nd "That wasn't me, my card must of been compromised". :1orglaugh
And the wallet... does that mean epass are not liable for lost funds due to compromised accounts because the funds where in virtual? And did you opt out of the ATM protection program? Oh my...
