Yes - your money IS safe inside Chris Mallick's safe. There ya go. |

Michael, People should know better not to threat you. Everybody know what a fantastic job you do, and that you have no fault at what is happening. I'm sure there are a lot of frustrated people out there, but that doesn't give them the right to do such thing. Anyway, I support you 100% and I will continue using Epass when you figure things out with Visa. I have sent you an e-mail. I hope everything is well, despite all this caos. :thumbsup |
Well into Tuesday here now

Yeah there are a lot of guys in BKK and all over the world who were running their entire lives through those ATM cards. I've heard some pretty pathetic stories of people and families reduced to zero due to this. I think Epassporte has to cut through all of the BS and put a stop to all this mayhem. There has to be a clear announcement to the effect "If card access is not restored by Sept 17th then all card balances will be moved to the wallet for access". Really anything less is unconscionable and hurtful at this point. I don't have a big stake in this Epass thing, but it is really starting to smell. |

I'll just interrupt this physco convention by saying the money I transfered from wallet to my CC worked and I have that money at least. Not the cheapest method by it works.. for now
|
Not suggesting this is a good idea, but if he were held hostage Mallick might be forced to shed some light on the situation.

wild speculation causes the mayhem... answering 2 simple questions would put an end to the mayhem. #1 What exactly happened to cause this situation? #2 What steps are you taking to rectify the problem? I know us simple folk probably would never be able to understand the answers to such complex questions.. but why won't they just humor us with answers anyway? The only conclusion that can be drawn by not answering those questions is that the answers we will receive will be extremely upsetting, more-so than would be by just ignoring people. There really is no other logical assumption that can be made if those 2 simple questions continue to be unanswered.. |

company Mallick owns to make the movie "Middle Men". They spent about $20 million making the movie, and sold $700 thousand in tickets, thereby losing $19.3 million. Without selling any tickets, they couldn't pay back the loan, thereby making the bank go broke and unable to pay out on deposits. Their only major depositor was ePassporte. I think Chris Mallick would pay out if he could. All the money is gone now, though, having been spent making the movie. He just didn't figure that it was possible to spend $20 million making a movie and not have ANYONE watch the damn thing. Who ever heard of a movie grossing less and a million? |

Did the bank run by ePassporte executives make a multi-million dollar loan to Mallick or his production company? Does that bank still have assets, other than that loan, sufficient to meet liabilities? Does the production company have a specific plan to repay the loan within the next few months? |
