That what they said about Sammy Gravano regarding John Gotti. Look what happened? :1orglaugh

I'm sure he's still monitoring the boards, and just decided not to post anymore.

This way he wouldn't give more fuel to all the trolls and idiots over here..

People wanting their money is considered a "troll idiot"?

I have over US$13k stuck there, and I do want my money.

But what good will it do to curse, and threaten Epass employees?

Specially Michael O that has helped this community time and again over the years. I cannot imagine Epass support without him, everyone that has ever needed some help from Epass through the years, got it from him. He's a great support guy, and is always willing to help.

People that go around calling names, and threatening, are doing no good to solve this issue.

If i was him i would not post shit. MO has helped me serveral times over the years for epass misshaps and hes always taken care of it. If he could give everyone their money i am sure he would be the first to do it. For all you people who have worked for sales/customer support how would you feel if the company you worked for something like this happened and you have people threating you and asking you the same question over and over. Moral of the above dribble don't shot the messenger.

I second that.

#1 what are the "program deficiencies" referred to by VISA regarding epassporte ?

#2 What exactly are you/epassporte waiting for ?

#3 Why can i not access/transfer my funds online , as visa has reported we should be able to.

While i understand Michael is not epassporte , you are a rep and can find the answer to these questions as your customers would like/deserve to know.

"fund are in motion" and "money is safe" are unacceptable answers.

Yes it is time for some answers.

Michael O,
Its time you took a step back and let Chris come forward to handle the allegations on this board and give us some answers. The last time Epass was in trouble, he came forward and explained very precisely what was going on.

See Thread http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showthread.php?t=361415

Chris, take time out of your nbusy schedule and do it again.

epitome 09-13-2010 12:32 PM

Come on guys, give Mallick some time!

He's got like 12 scripts in development and may have casting calls or something this week.

This Epassporte problem will have to wait. Sorry.

He's a smart man that has learned how to prioritize and delegate.

Our money is safe but is also in motion, we just have to trust him! How many times has he told us this already?

CYF 09-13-2010 12:36 PM

answers would be great, but I doubt we're getting any at this point.

Vick! 09-13-2010 12:41 PM

Even though I have my money stuck, but I'd take the bitter truth rather than just hoping, waiting and being positive.

Come on, tell us what is up with money. Are we getting, or not. If yes, when. That's it.

Just to update those who may have seen my thread regarding calling the bank.

I just called again and the lady reassured me my card would work again soon, i asked specifically if they had severed ties or if new cards would have to be printed, she replied that my card would begin working again.

p.s. this call was to st kitts bank not epassporte

I can't imagine Micheal, alone, being on numerous boards, with numerous threads and thousands of posts per thread per board, to keep up. Seems impossible to do, especially when he has no news to report from his employers. I don't know what going on. Nobody does I think, except Visa, a bank and epass having a unresolved issue with eachother which is affecting the industry and all it's users, where no clear outcome is obvious yet. I hope everybody involved get what they expect in a positive way. Fingers crossed :2 cents:

It's not helping, I agree. Worse even. On the other hand people having funds stuck need to be able to discuss it and ask questions about their own situation. You can't blame people for being upset, it's a livelyhood for many. It should be respected.

Let's hope epass, visa and this bank work it out and come with good news soon. If not, it will cause a landslide to this industry for sure.

1. Denial ? "I feel fine."; "This can't be happening, not to me."
Denial is usually only a temporary defense for the individual. This feeling is generally replaced with heightened awareness of situations and individuals that will be left behind after ePass's death.

2. Anger ? "Why me? It's not fair!"; "How can this happen to me?"; "Who is to blame?"
Once in the second stage, the individual recognizes that denial cannot continue. Because of anger, the person is very difficult to converse with on GFY due to misplaced feelings of rage and envy. Any individual that symbolizes life or energy is subject to projected resentment and jealousy.

3. Bargaining ? "Just let me get my money out please."; "I'll do anything for a few more bucks."; "I will give my left nut if only..."
The third stage involves the hope that the individual can somehow postpone or delay the death of ePass. Usually, the negotiation for an extended payout is made with a higher power in exchange for a reformed lifestyle. Psychologically, the individual is saying, "I understand ePass will die, but if I could just have more time..."

4. Depression ? "I'm so sad, why bother with anything?"; "ePass is going to die... What's the point?"; "I miss my money, why go on?"
During the fourth stage, the broke person begins to understand the certainty of ePass's death. Because of this, the individual may become a lurker, refuse trolling or spend much of the time crying and grieving. This process allows the disgruntled person to disconnect oneself from things like money and food. It is not recommended to attempt to cheer up an individual who is in this stage. It is an important time for grieving that must be processed.

5. Acceptance ? "It's going to be okay."; "I can't fight it, I may as well prepare for it."
In this last stage, the individual begins to come to terms with ePass's mortality or that of their money.

lol that about sums it up .. although for me i can still get paid by check without too much hassle , for others it is a big hassle, and i only had a tiny sum in epass vv , others are facing foreclosure.

I would donate whats in my vv to get the service working again to be honest , if i thought it helped.

I think you are overreacting. As we have seen, there are other similar services. When there is a demand, there will be a service too.

Last time you called the bank, they told you that they would have an answer latter that same day, didn't they?

"Soon" doesn't seem too good if you ask me.

i know instinct is to rage and panic (for me too) but really its best to not go wild on the forums and create more panic. Something happened, benefit of the doubt says Epass had some sort of issue that needed to be resolved, because someone else (the bank) wanted to cover its ass. its fixing it. im sure when its back working we'll get a nice email with a little bit more specific information. so long as it comes back, that is all that matters, so lets just take it easy. it hasnt been terribly long yet, just over 1 working week.

Give them some time, for your sake, no theirs!

Au contraire mon frere... I think results of this mess is that Epass have open doors to competition. I know for a fact at least 2 groups of very well connected people currently working on solutions to introduce to our industry.

Sucks for Chris and all the peeps at Epass... But now, people who had a taste of epass freedom, will be willing to try something else.

tiger 09-13-2010 06:12 PM

Smokey those are 3 excellent questions, if only they would fess up and tell the truth and answer those questions I think a lot of webmasters would actually be willing to give them some more trust and patience to work on a solution but the way they are handling this is pure bullshit.

I'll have to agree with you. ePass was in the right place for this industry at the time when Paypal simply became unworkable, and had the right tools in place to capture that business.
I don't believe that a movie has caused this issue; I wouldn't be inclined to think that, but I'm also offering no opinion on what may or may not be going on with the company, since it's none of my business.
I do think that silence might work against them as far as public perception, but again, none of my business.
If someone else has a viable solution and there is no resolution quickly, or at least explanation, it would definitely lead to a possible market shift.
