#1 question of the day "What exactly are we waiting for ?" #2 what is the reason sknab asked visa to turn off the cards ? |
If Mallick was 100% the money was safe and he really wanted to save Epass reputation he could just have paid out the frozen money out of his own pocket.

Basically there is only 2 reasons epassporte is where it's at. #1 cash problem, if there is a cash problem it is because epass borrowed too deep off its clients money. In this scenario it is likely chris who borrowed too deep and thus he wouldn't have the money to lend himself #2 visa rules. Visa instituted alot of new rules on record-keeping in conjuction with us laws, these include all the id requirements we have been seeing. In this scenario , its just jumping through red tape. Some things that point to a positive outcome. - visa logo is still on the main page of epassporte - sknab reports they are working on the problem and still have an active relationship with epassporte, if they didn't they would surely be the first to point this out. - ach deposits have been going through - sponsors are still funding payments Some things that point to a negative outcome - it has been 2 weeks - visa says we have access to the funds on epassporte but we dont - epassporte isn't giving out any real information |
Oh please! wake up and smell the fucking coffee!
It doesn't take a genius to know the status of things. Allow this retired fuck to enlighten you: - The cash is FROZEN because the accounts got switched off by VISA - This means its safe, that much is true. There are laws for this, and those same laws ensure you will all get your cash back. - Wallet transfers go as normal, its been posted and plastered all over this board, so Epass is not scamming or running with your money. However, Epass for all intends and purposes is dead, simply because it takes to long to get up and running again and without the visa functionality they are simply not interesting to most who used them. So when this shit is sorted and all your money is back into your pockets Epass will be a shadow of its former self if alive at all, because you can rest assured that by the way they mishandled this mess the big boys didn't walk away, they ran!(See how affiliate programs are dropping them on a large scale and that's just the part we see happening). Is all lost? Only time will tell. Perhaps in a year or so Epass will have managed to regain a bit of what they lost in the last two weeks. So the million dollar question in this case would be, can Epass sustain the hit they are taking as we speak and continue, or will it drown in the process? Either way you will be getting your money back, but you may have lost the convenience of Epass forever. That's what is really at stake here not the cash tied up in the VISA end of it. |

If epassporte has completely cutoff from visa, would think the visa logo would have been removed from epassporte the first day. I would also think that the st kitts bank woud say "call epassporte" or "we dont have your money" not " your card will be working again shortly" Quote:

1. We'll never be told. Companies simply don't let out that sort of information and if they do, it wouldn't be until after things are resolved. This is especially true if it's their "fault". 2. They've already told us what they're doing, i.e. working on getting things working so people can get their money. Beyond that they're not going to share details of specifics, companies simply don't do that. 3. This has been answered multiple times. Cards don't work so they need to resolve that and set up alternate methods. Maybe it could be done straight through the bank but who knows. No one seems to be asking the bank. What we REALLY need to know is. 1. Are the cards "dead" for good or are they going to be turned back on and if so roughly when so people can plan accordingly. We need to know if it's going to be "anytime now" or a month from now. 2. If the cards are dead, what's the timeframe for alternate methods being setup to get the money from them. Again, any time now or a month from now. Frankly, it's irrepsonsible and unprofessional leaving everyone in the dark as to those answers. People need to be able to plan for things and without that information it's impossible. |

Some people are so dumb. Really. 2 weeks passed and everybody panics that their money are gone. Some even go as far as saying CM took'em.
Now seriously .. you really think a guy that spent 20 mil on Middle Men, just finished filming Columbus Circle (www.columbuscirclemovie.com), and is working on Exxxit: Life After Porn, Scrappers (TV Series) and Ninety would really do that from your 2,3,4,5 or even 6 figures accounts?. Go and hang yourself. We are speaking about hundreds of millions of $$$ here. And i really doubt all you loud mouths complaining around here, combined, match their spending limits. To be honest i somehow understand the lack of communication. How would they reason with angry mob??? |

Regardless, that's the type of information that ePass should be telling us, not forcing people to call the damn bank. Pisses me off. |

The big question is, if everyone tries to get their money back out of their wallet if there will be enough money there to repay everyone. This has nothing to do with the VV situation, just a notion that it may be possible that epass was investing some of the funds it held. Who knows, but that tends to seem more logical of a reason why wires are taking 2+ weeks to go out for some and most people who requested to withdraw all of their wallet money is still waiting for a wire. We shall see. If they can send wires (which we know they can since some people got them) then 100% of all wires requested should be completed already, but how much longer do they need to blame it on a "backup"? another week ? time will tell if the "backup" is a smoke screen because all of the funds weren't available to send out all of those wires. |

There is alot of politics..in this
|
I am astonished that after all the information that is now out there, and after the events of this drama playing out almost exactly like all the others where people got fucked over in the last decade .... people still think things will be ok!
Seriously .. you might be lucky to get a few bucks outa them, but the run on epass if they come right alone will sink it. Write the money off .. get on with life. |
SKNB:EK |
I just wanna know EXACTLY when will this being fixed, next week, next month, next year? be honest and tell us about!
no more "I am optimist" "ePassporte is working with the St. Kitts bank" "your funds are safe" whatever |
