Michael, you say you get updates several times a day. Are the things moving forward or do you mostly get "we are working on it" each time? You get soem vague updates or are they clear what is solved and what not..?I mean do you get any information that makes you believe that things are going in the right direction? No need to tell us what they are if you cant, but we are all wondering here if the things are going in the right direction. Several updates per day or daily updates - I am guessing you would not be receiving them if things would not resolve step by step or?

Also another thing - you seemed very positive the things will be resolved last week, all back to normal, even visa card and you didnt hide this enthusiasm. However we are not hearing any statements or even "I am positive" that things go in the right direction..Sometimes silence is information in a way too and in this case it is bad information unfortunatelly., especially since you were so positive last week but this week far less.

I called both before and after that article. I was worried the bank had basically "turned off" the account.

They still appear to want to appease me as a client as opposed to distancing themselves from the problem ( something likely if it was a liquidity problem )

i doubt he could have done that even if he wanted too.

Basically there is only 2 reasons epassporte is where it's at.

#1 cash problem, if there is a cash problem it is because epass borrowed too deep off its clients money. In this scenario it is likely chris who borrowed too deep and thus he wouldn't have the money to lend himself

#2 visa rules. Visa instituted alot of new rules on record-keeping in conjuction with us laws, these include all the id requirements we have been seeing. In this scenario , its just jumping through red tape.


Some things that point to a positive outcome.

- visa logo is still on the main page of epassporte
- sknab reports they are working on the problem and still have an active relationship with epassporte, if they didn't they would surely be the first to point this out.
- ach deposits have been going through
- sponsors are still funding payments


Some things that point to a negative outcome

- it has been 2 weeks
- visa says we have access to the funds on epassporte but we dont
- epassporte isn't giving out any real information

It doesn't take a genius to know the status of things. Allow this retired fuck to enlighten you:

- The cash is FROZEN because the accounts got switched off by VISA
- This means its safe, that much is true. There are laws for this, and those same laws ensure you will all get your cash back.
- Wallet transfers go as normal, its been posted and plastered all over this board, so Epass is not scamming or running with your money.

However, Epass for all intends and purposes is dead, simply because it takes to long to get up and running again and without the visa functionality they are simply not interesting to most who used them.

So when this shit is sorted and all your money is back into your pockets Epass will be a shadow of its former self if alive at all, because you can rest assured that by the way they mishandled this mess the big boys didn't walk away, they ran!(See how affiliate programs are dropping them on a large scale and that's just the part we see happening).

Is all lost? Only time will tell. Perhaps in a year or so Epass will have managed to regain a bit of what they lost in the last two weeks.

So the million dollar question in this case would be, can Epass sustain the hit they are taking as we speak and continue, or will it drown in the process?

Either way you will be getting your money back, but you may have lost the convenience of Epass forever.

That's what is really at stake here not the cash tied up in the VISA end of it.

If epassporte has completely cutoff from visa, would think the visa logo would have been removed from epassporte the first day. I would also think that the st kitts bank woud say "call epassporte" or "we dont have your money" not " your card will be working again shortly"
