#1 what are the "program deficiencies" referred to by VISA regarding epassporte ?

#2 What exactly are you/epassporte waiting for ?

#3 Why can i not access/transfer my funds online , as visa has reported we should be able to.

While i understand Michael is not epassporte , you are a rep and can find the answer to these questions as your customers would like/deserve to know.

"fund are in motion" and "money is safe" are unacceptable answers.

While we all want to know what's going on, these are the types of questions that won't be answered so they're a waste of time.

1. We'll never be told. Companies simply don't let out that sort of information and if they do, it wouldn't be until after things are resolved. This is especially true if it's their "fault".

2. They've already told us what they're doing, i.e. working on getting things working so people can get their money. Beyond that they're not going to share details of specifics, companies simply don't do that.

3. This has been answered multiple times. Cards don't work so they need to resolve that and set up alternate methods. Maybe it could be done straight through the bank but who knows. No one seems to be asking the bank.

What we REALLY need to know is.

1. Are the cards "dead" for good or are they going to be turned back on and if so roughly when so people can plan accordingly. We need to know if it's going to be "anytime now" or a month from now.

2. If the cards are dead, what's the timeframe for alternate methods being setup to get the money from them. Again, any time now or a month from now.

Frankly, it's irrepsonsible and unprofessional leaving everyone in the dark as to those answers. People need to be able to plan for things and without that information it's impossible.

they often do, especially if it's not their fault. if its a cash problem , yes we prob won't hear about it. otherwise theres no reason to not say.

you may be satisfied with lip service , but i deserve a bit more than that and so do others.
They are working to get my money means nothing.

the issuing bank sknab told me the cards WILL work again, she read me back the numbers , cards starting with 468906 (epass) will be working again. ( mentioned earlier in thread ) , i recorded the call if you are interested.

K let's have a podcast...

livepimpin 09-15-2010 05:16 PM

Some people are so dumb. Really. 2 weeks passed and everybody panics that their money are gone. Some even go as far as saying CM took'em.
Now seriously .. you really think a guy that spent 20 mil on Middle Men, just finished filming Columbus Circle (www.columbuscirclemovie.com), and is working on Exxxit: Life After Porn, Scrappers (TV Series) and Ninety would really do that from your 2,3,4,5 or even 6 figures accounts?. Go and hang yourself. We are speaking about hundreds of millions of $$$ here. And i really doubt all you loud mouths complaining around here, combined, match their spending limits.
To be honest i somehow understand the lack of communication. How would they reason with angry mob???

Public companies have to answer to the shareholders and so they have to say although companies lie and mislead all the time. ePass isn't public and doesn't have to say shit to us when it comes down to it..

I'm not satisfied with lip service. I'm just as pissed as others. I want to know some freakin time frames so I can plan appropriately. If it's going to be "any day now", I don't need to do a wire transfer. If it's going to be a few weeks, then I do.

Yes, but you asked about the card. I was refering to asking the bank about getting the money from the bank directly since they're the ones that issue the cards and thus have the money.

I have no doubt that's what they told you, no need for proof. Who did you talk to though? If it was just a customer support person they might not know the truth and are just relaying what they've been told to say.

Regardless, that's the type of information that ePass should be telling us, not forcing people to call the damn bank. Pisses me off.

It doesn't take a genius to know the status of things. Allow this retired fuck to enlighten you:

- The cash is FROZEN because the accounts got switched off by VISA
- This means its safe, that much is true. There are laws for this, and those same laws ensure you will all get your cash back.
- Wallet transfers go as normal, its been posted and plastered all over this board, so Epass is not scamming or running with your money.

However, Epass for all intends and purposes is dead, simply because it takes to long to get up and running again and without the visa functionality they are simply not interesting to most who used them.

So when this shit is sorted and all your money is back into your pockets Epass will be a shadow of its former self if alive at all, because you can rest assured that by the way they mishandled this mess the big boys didn't walk away, they ran!(See how affiliate programs are dropping them on a large scale and that's just the part we see happening).

Is all lost? Only time will tell. Perhaps in a year or so Epass will have managed to regain a bit of what they lost in the last two weeks.

So the million dollar question in this case would be, can Epass sustain the hit they are taking as we speak and continue, or will it drown in the process?

Either way you will be getting your money back, but you may have lost the convenience of Epass forever.

That's what is really at stake here not the cash tied up in the VISA end of it.

The big question is, if everyone tries to get their money back out of their wallet if there will be enough money there to repay everyone. This has nothing to do with the VV situation, just a notion that it may be possible that epass was investing some of the funds it held. Who knows, but that tends to seem more logical of a reason why wires are taking 2+ weeks to go out for some and most people who requested to withdraw all of their wallet money is still waiting for a wire. We shall see. If they can send wires (which we know they can since some people got them) then 100% of all wires requested should be completed already, but how much longer do they need to blame it on a "backup"? another week ? time will tell if the "backup" is a smoke screen because all of the funds weren't available to send out all of those wires.

after his first disaster you think he would have learned his lesson with trying to be a Hollywood producer/investor. Apparently not. He should stick to processing.... oh wait that aint going so well for him either.

Seriously .. you might be lucky to get a few bucks outa them, but the run on epass if they come right alone will sink it. Write the money off .. get on with life.

From a customer service stand point, it would been better to say this is very fucked up and we wont have this fixed for 6 weeks at least but we are working hard to make it right. Then if it got fixed in two or three weeks you are a hero and people aren't sitting around asking everyday whats happening whats happening?

If they do go the way of the others in the past... then one thing is for sure, the principles wont go away, thats for sure. These billing company types fuck up, lose everyone's money, lay low a couple months then pop back under a new name like nothing ever happened. Happens every time. DMR people jumped ship and became digiblaze (which didn't last long either before they were shut down). Ibill people formed segpay.

But they ($$$ and content thieves) always seem to find a ready and willing target market.

Yeah true, first couple of times I got done by processors etc, I kinda hung on hoping for the best. Of course it never happened, they just kept stringing us along as long as they could.

Until you have been burned a few times I suppose you are prone to the wishful thinking syndrome..

If it's tied up with VISA, why did VISA release a press statement saying the money is available? That is the big question. Who is more likely to be full of shit, VISA or Epassporte.
