So 6 and a half months later and you have not sorted out the obvious pirates from the not so obvious. Stupid excuse.

It would take less than a week to figure out this guy is loading content he does not have the license for or is working for you uploading content you own the license for. I saw that he had a very busy day 4 days ago. Seems you ignore people like that.

Would you like me to go through your site and point out people who obviously don't have the license and uploading a lot of content?

Btw the economics have to come in to play as well. If one photographer is willing to cut his fee to get work (because nobody is hiring him) and another guy refuses to cut his fee. Why pay the higher rate or even pay them more? I know the whole you get what you pay for. But when people are out of work that isn't necessarily true.

BTW check out the book "Drive" the author actually argues you get less the more you pay staff/contractors.

At your level going from one producer to another on pure "price" is faulty and could result in you losing members. Your level of quality is high and price has to be secondary. Also pushing people like Dean to shoot more than 2 scenes a day is likely to bring down his quality of work. Models and shooters are just not able to hit the top levels.

It's a shame that youtube does not take adult content right :D

Indeed.

And don´t forget there are huge amounts of money already made by fighting torrents in Germany. The solution is simple. The copyright owner catches the IP address of a filesharing client. He gets a court order against the provider to deliver the person behind the IP. Now a lawyer contacts the person behind the IP and usually demands both, recovery of damages and lawyers´fees. Common amounts are between ? 250 and ? 1200.

There are a couple of thousands per month. About 33% pay on demand, about 30% pay after the second letter. Only a few really go to court.

They enjoy good lifestyles in the Western world. They are not hiding in Siberia :2 cents:

In Holland there is no DMCA law, that is an american law. we have the 'notice and take down' code. A (hosting) company must remove illegal content. Or they can decide to give the owners name and let him argue with the copyright holder. A DMCA is a gentlemans agreement, you can always sue them.

I just read all 5 pages of it. It seems to me some people are in total denial that they are acting immorally.

Simply because a law says you can do it, doesn't always mean you should do it.

Here is an article that came out answering a lot of the questions raised on this thread. I know it is somewhat narcissistic since I am the one interviewed, for which I apologize.

But I can't help notice that many of the people against pirate slaying seem to be using arguments that have been flatly thrown out of court every single time. My personal favorite is "You can't prove it". Doesn't the fact that I am calling you (and you know internally that you DL'ed it) show that I either called a random number from the yellow pages and got REALLLLLY lucky, or our software works pretty good.

I will be at the AVN show in Jan. If these suits fail, there will be plenty of people there to remind me. If they succeed . . . "I'll take a vodka tonic from the gentleman over there eating crow"

i don't understand. You are stating that you are extremely sure you 'got your man' due to good working software, but in the end the 'the court system here thankfully puts the responsibility... on the owner of the ISP account for the purpose of illegal downloading.'

isn't that a 'shotgun approach'?

I said it before, and I will say so again, your actions against DOWNLOADERS are complete and utter crap. You will never prevail there, and I know your answer will again be some stupid remark about how I am afraid my tubes will fail because of you...

WE SEND MORE DMCA NOTICES A DAY THAN YOU DO. Get it in your thick skull finally that you are not some god-sent guy.

I loved your content in the past, a few years ago you kept releasing great new girls, and so on... This completely stopped years ago, and now you complain you are nolonger making money?! PLEASE!
