Fact #1: The point of the thread is Google not being perfect in 2010 with people getting away with spammy links. Boohoo. The point here is the SERP "quality" and some guy thinking that we should report it for the sake of all whitehat folks who sweat blood to get the puritan methods working. Whitehats are just angry they do not have the guts to do blackhat, while others do and then those others even manage to pass them by breaking "the rules" some website put up.

Fact #2: Every good SEO does blackhat. It's only the classiness and extent that differ. What is borderline whitehat today, will be blackhat tomorrow. Just because it's not up on the Google's "rules of conduct" it doesn't mean you won't get kick in the but for it next year.

Next someone will come here saying Google is evil for letting this pass because some webmaster that they list is spamming links on blogs that some kid my own.

So it's everyone else's fault that your kid my run into porn. I salute you. :thumbsup

Blackhat always irritated me when done by stupid webmasters who can't match the fucking niche. But here I as a novice user of Google I wouldn't notice a thing. Got what I looked for. Not quality, but hey with terms like the above, you are not looking for quality - you just got your fucking internet connection today.

this kind of crap is part of the business. has been and continues to be. no matter how hard you cry, it will be all around you for as long as you are able to click your mouse. either learn to ignore it or embrace it.

please, i know people who have had that exact senario happen. think they're on top of the world, making tons of cash but also have big expenses to keep it going. shit stops working, fails (or at least not nearly as successful) at new attempts and its all gone.

It pisses me off that people don't take responsibilty for what their children view on the internet. Unfortunately, scum like this (not you - the asshat who runs the wespamchildren site) spams their adult website on non-adult forums and blogs, as well as on websites geared towards children.

And, yes, Google is stupid for giving those backlinks any relevance or weight.

Although I may be a miserable failure, not ONCE in twelve years has it struck me to put my porn in front of people who are not explicitely looking for it.

i know its not raking in as much as they want it to as they were on here last week wondering why sponsors weren't converting and looking for new ones. I know because I did it for a while a few years back...high stress and high costs and eventually it all went to shit. sure, i probably could of built it back up but it was too much stress waking up every day wondering if today will be the day it gets knocked off. maybe its easier now and you can just auto replace a few things and be back up and running, i don't know but it wasn't like that then.
