I found a french forum post on the matter, read it all over, and it seems to relate the story told by OP. Some details are different though. When he committed suicide, he was playing xobx with his friend until he told me that he's going to the bathroom to take a pee (not take a shower like OP said) and that's where he shot himself. He also seems to have more problems that just epassporte and he was owing a lot of money to everyone. But it is clear that the epassporte fiasco didn't help him at all. If so, why would you take screen shots of your account, while down the line of the screen shot it says " Did you know..... " the tip to use wallet. That was the only safety that u were offered. Why you put your faith on a screen shot?

He posted about this. They added more money to his Visa account after everything was frozen already. The first screen shot is of the lesser amount and it was made right when everything was frozen.

wel the " 1110 on the higher amount messages shot " and the " 1111 message on the lower amount shot " tells me something got deducted instead of added. Thats why i got confused in the first place. It seems he made the 1110 BEFORE epass was frozen, otherwise he would not miss 5000 on the 1111 Message screen shot.

1111 messages is = 248K

So after he redraw a 5K, he got a new message, leading to a new balance of 248K
This all happened before epass went gogo, and he did all transactions before 2 September

If he was making screenshots of everytime his balance changed, then it might as well prove he never trusted them 100%, and thats why i think it is weird he has zero in his wallet. Not even a 50/50 backup plan here? with this kind of money I thought people were more careful.

I confirm that this story is true. But ePassporte is probably not the only part of the story.

These fuckwits in the banks and corporations involved don't give a shit about the fact messing with our income affects real people in dramatic ways. This Mallick fuckwit, the bosses in Visa, the bank involved, none of them give a shit, they are greedy fucks one and all and have screwed us.

You can't just blame Mallick and the banks. People with 6 figures of gambling money on an offshore prepaid visa card have some responsibility to accept for this situation also.

Glad you stepped up and WU him, he's lucky to have a guardian angel. I'm getting hit up by designers in the Philippines who are also in similar boats, used their Epass card as their bank since they didn't have bank accounts and now really needing work because their money is tied up and they have families to feed.

BP was held accountable for the damages to the coast, why can't we hold Mallick accountable for the damages done to people's lives?
