Why is it that some minorities feel the burning desire to make sure everyone knows where they are from. Rick Sanchez is the perfect example; He talks about Cuba all the time. Oddly enough, I don't remember any other newscaster ever telling us on air where they are from.

And then in comments today he said he was a "minority who has faced discrimination all of his life". He was a popular newscaster on CNN making hundreds of thousands a year. Doesn't seem like he's had too many problems.

Of course "bad" is always defined by who's in control.

The jews have never owned all of the media, but they've oftentimes controlled a large part of it.

In the early 1930's, for example, jews owned Berlin's three largest newspapers and there were some people there who had a problem with that.

The subsequent consequences were, of course and as always, determined by the employers of the moment.

Basically he said jews dont count as minorities because they run all the media. Basically infered that no one discriminates against jews.

Its sort of like comparing apples and oranges though. Hispanics are a minority of colour, where as Jews are a minority of religion.

What are there, about 6 million jews in the USA? A heck of a lot of them blend in with us honky folk just fine.
