I don't think they allow 1 cent withdrawls from ATMs :thumbsup

MaDalton 10-05-2010 04:32 PM

so the guy with the $250k will be going to the ATM for the next 781 days ;)

kektex 10-05-2010 05:26 PM

Will we be able to buy stuff online like from amazon? I kept most of my money on the wallet, but still lost like $120 on the VV. I might just buy a $120 Amazon gift card with it.

yeah, it sounds like the online-only virtual number should work too

Vjo 10-05-2010 06:21 PM

I checked and it's not working yet. Soon as someone makes a ATM cash withdrawl, let us know.

About 27 more hours St Kitts time. :) (Eastern Daylight Time)

I might drive in to a machine just after midnight. hehe

Beautiful St Kitts in the Caribbean

http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/a...-and-nevis.jpg

Breadfruit tress line the roads as a warm breeze lazily sweeps the pavement. Converted plantations are everywhere - no longer housing sugarcane but visitors to St. Kitts island.

And though St. Kitts and Nevis are forever interlocked as sister countries, both remnants of British colonies, each island has different ways of getting by.

Though one thing they both have in common is: how well your day went is generally directly related to how many hours you spent in a hammock. And while relaxation is the norm along the beaches of the Caribbean, it is taken to new levels in St Kitts and Nevis.

The "Fat Lady" has sung and the ePassporte soap opera is over ? I hope.

In retrospect, should this news be true and correct; if our actual financial losses are limited to less than 10% ? that is better than was expected two weeks ago at least.

MrBottomTooth 10-05-2010 06:25 PM

Too bad my card expired on September 30 and I never received a new one, even though they charged me the $35 renewal on September 1.

adult-help 10-05-2010 06:26 PM

as someone said: who cares what the fees will be as long as we can take the money out...

Log in and go to your online summary or account summary page. Balances for both the wallet and Visa virtual account are listed there.

Oh wait, you're too slow!

Didn't he kill himself ?

KillerK 10-06-2010 01:44 AM

I got this email from them today at 1pm EST (notice it says further on oct 4th which was the day before)

Thank you for your email. As per the statement on our website (www.sknanb.com), it is expected that from Wednesday, October 6th, the majority of cardholders will be able to access the funds on their Visa Card using their existing card, without providing SKNANB further information. A small percentage of cardholders will be asked to provide certain confirming information. SKNANB prepaid cardholders can expect further communication from us on October 4th in this regard. Please continue to check our website for further updates. Thank you for your continued patience.

Today was 'expected'

Tomorrow is 'confirmed'

I'm pretty confident we can go to the ATM tomorrow :thumbsup

Cyandin 10-06-2010 10:33 AM

Just for shits and giggles, I tried withdrawing from the ATM today using my electron card. It did not flatly deny it, but rather it said "This terminal does not support this transaction type" at two different ATM's. I also tried having a lady swipe it at the convenience store, but it didn't work there either.

Earlier in this debacle, the ATM's would just say "EAT SHIT COSTA" so I think we're on the right track here. Here's holding out for tomorrow!

bloggerz 10-06-2010 12:01 PM

i emailed them and asked if i needed more documents and it turns out i do even though my account is verified with epassporte. so this will delay me i guess
