Saying that, this is just another case of somebody bursting into tears after not reading the TOS and fucking up.

too dumb to read the part he said the terms and conditions he AGREED to are completely different from what is there now.. i suggest reading through his first post in detail so you dont come off as a dumb ass

I see they sell over 30 products now. I think they had just 6 at he beginning...

I had sent some traffic but never made any sales so don't know.. At least I don't remember if I ever made any sales...

Did they say why they took that money? MoreNiche is like a lot of mainstream programs in that some of the products you can promote don't belong to them. They just provide the stats etc. for other companies... So if those companies never paid in the money that the stats said you'd earned, they'd remove it from your payouts... They've dropped a number of companies because of that...

watch out for the ones you promote as they might simply remove them from one day to another... it has happened to a few products already...

should I IMAGINE that a "reputable" affiliate program would have 2 different TOS on their website?

"Technically", you had no access to that when you signed up... You would have agreed to the TOS that's on the main site when you sign up... i.e., I went to signup, clicked the link next to the checkbox on the signup page.. and it's in that TOS about the 12 month thing.

I don't like it either...

Well. At least they are up-front with it. If you did not visit their webmaster zone often you could simply overlook an update of the terms...

It was in their TOS and you agreed to them

they have 2 different TOS on their website... how do you know which one is the correct one?
the one open for everyone or the one that only affiliates that are logged in can see?

I don't like it either...

I signed up with them in 2004 and that was not on their TOS... actually I never joined MORE NICHE... I joined MENS NICHE... which became lativio and then MORE NICHE and WORLD NICHE... any way... that part was not on the TOS back then... and they DO HAVE 2 DIFFERENT TOS... one for affiliates logged on the site and one open for the public...

xxweekxx 10-13-2010 02:04 PM

listen obviously the fact they have 2 different T&C, with one of them having the 12 month thing, and the other not having it, means they added it recently and didnt start off with that shit.

they probably looked and were like holy shit, we got 200 affiliates with <$50 and their acct has been passive for 12 months, lets mallick them and thats like $10k in our pockets..

and then all of them got mallicked, including pornpf69

paymeback 10-13-2010 02:04 PM

Not surprised moreniche is doing this they have done some questionable things over the last few years just search the boards...

THEY HAVE OVER LOOKED THE UPDATE ON THEIR TERMS AS THEY DIDN'T UPDATE ALL THEIR TOS PAGES ON THEIR WEBSITE...
what makes an affiliate program have 2 different TOS PAGES?

I do not promote them. As I said - I tried them and never got any sales. Though I was looking for some acne curing stuff they have now. Just to give it a try. I have a couple of sex-story sites with obviously teenage-dork auditory. I did not have any luck with weight-loss products on adult sites ever, though some other non-adult products do sell slowly.

Fat Panda 10-13-2010 02:06 PM

they did the same thing to me, i will never promote the fuckers

if I am able to get a few of their affiliates to drop their links and promote something else I will be extremely happy...

Cyber Fucker 10-13-2010 02:09 PM

It looks that they don't care.. now I will recall it before sending them any traffic.

Ahh, this is simple. Most people in this biz are incompetent morons. In fact, most of people in general are incompetent morons. Besides, when you are a single person who have many sites and much job to do or, in contrary, when you are big and have many employees that come and go - such mistakes do happen.

actually with less than $100 which is their minimum payout...
IF THEY ALREADY HAVE A MINIMUM PAYOUT WHY DID THEY ADD THIS SHIT!?
THEY CAN REMOVE THE MINIMUM PAYOUT AND ADD SOMETHING LIKE YOU HAVE TO CLAIM YOUR EARNING ONE WEEK AFTER YOU MADE THEM... they will steal a lot more from their affiliates this way...

hydra hasn't sunk yet? i thought they were on the verge of going tits up not that long ago?

DidierE 10-13-2010 02:20 PM

MoreNiche stole from me too. I had like $150 in my account and because I didn't send any more traffic during the last few months they just closed down my account.
Without paying the $150!!

Normal sponsors would keep the account alive but not Moreniche.
Oh fuck them, they are thieves!

zeuse 10-13-2010 02:20 PM

If you had put as much energy into promoting them as you have put into this thread you might have made the minimum for payout.

if only they didn't keep removing the products I was promoting...
I had a few poker sites promoting the WASSPOKER and WASSONLINE... and then they removed both of them and my commissions (which I can't prove as they were delete from my stats)

Hi Pornpf69,

I just read this thread and sent an icq with this thread / post to Darren..

I don't work for the company but have been doing business with them for several yrs.

We have done thousands and thousands of orders / biz with them.

All I can say is we have never had a problem, and can attest to the fact that they pay affiliates like clock work...

Since Darren and company are not around, what is your Paypal email?

I will square you away right now.

Thanks

Todd

No one who sends them 2 or 3 sales a day is going to give two shits about them canning your account.

Yeah, it's shady and just a way to grab some extra cash...but those seem to be their terms, so be it.

they USED TO BE awesome... but they changed their TOS (without sending an email to let everyone know)... claimed they sent emails saying that my account was about to become inactive (which they didn't)... and have 2 different TOS pages...

that is not something a good sponsor does... is it?

CunningStunt 10-13-2010 03:10 PM

That sucks, no matter how small the amount, it's the principle of the matter.

Hi,

To be truthful I don't know about the tos issue Pornpf69...

They will be able to answer that - better then I could....

Personally I would wait and see what Darren has to say...

Again I never ever usually try and speak for another company - I just figured I would try and help out a bit since they were not around now....

All I know is they pay like Gold and have too many affiliates to count...

BruceM 10-13-2010 03:23 PM

I contacted MoreNiche as well about this thread. Hopefully you will get this sorted out.

It's dumb. I don't know but you see a lot of this with affiliate programs these days. I suspect if you add up all the money of hundreds of small affiliates you get a nice chunk of change. I also think some reps are almost trained to be hostile to smaller affiliates. I wonder if the attitude isn't "He doesn't send a lot of sales so fuck him". It's been a common theme with programs especially the last three years. Basically: "If you're not going to be a whale with our program, fuck you".
