FWIW there are a lot of people that used to hate them (and for good reason as this thread shows) that now seem to be perfectly fine with them - in 2-3 short years. The only thing that changed was they got much much bigger.

You just make it very clear that you are not leaving until this situation is cleared up. Demande that not only they take the videos offline but to be compensated for them. When employees can not get their job done and you are making them look bad for anyone coming into the office.... Trust me the problem will be solved.

I made a decision to work with Nathan/Manwin and it was one of the best decisions that I've ever made. Nathan and his crew have been 100% professional from day one. They've been considerate, sensitive, respectful and completely supportive of where I want to go with my work. I had a sit down a few weeks ago with some Manwin people and it blew me away how concerned they were with my well-being and how much they were focused on making sure that I had everything that I needed to produce the highest quality possible. They've been, without question - one of the best clients that I've ever had. And after talking to a number of producers who work with them - they all feel the same way.

My nasty quote here about Nathan was before a couple of very successful & "highly-regarded" people in this biz took me aside and explained some things to me about business and about change. The industry is constantly evolving and it may not always be for the good…. and even if it is, it may not be immediately recognized as good. As a producer I can sit back and whine, complain and blame others for the state of the industry or I can figure out how to position myself and take advantage of the change. That's what I've done and if that rubs some of you the wrong way, I can't help it. I make life decisions based on what I think is best for me, my work, my crew and my future, not what a bunch of guys on GFY think that I should do. So love me or hate me …. that's me.
