over promoting = dead site = confusing to me. I always thought the more promotion the better.
From the looks of the site there are plenty of videos of the twins, plus multi-site pass with signup. |

Since the guy seems to have enough content in the members area I'm not going to know how he chooses to promote his own sites. It's his business and his decision. People like to talk about everyone else's shit here but how many do you think actually tried it the other way? I can tell you a few that have. Several programs over the years have beta tested new sites either themselves or with select affiliates. A lot of times this means promoting a site with a handful of galleries only. Want to ask any one of them what their conversions were during beta vs what they were after 1000 FHG's were put out? Yes, there are a lot of factors in this but unless you've tried it both ways you have no room to talk. Of course affiliates are going to be pissed, they want to leech off piles of keyword traffic from the programs they promote by throwing up every hosted gallery around, spending pennies on bandwidth and building a following that knows they have everything. FreeOnes is big, they send a fuckload of sales but did you ever wonder how they get that traffic? Go search for a models name in google and get back to me. Interesting. Now let's look at the big keywords used to hit freeones.com. 1 freeones 5.98% 2 free ones 0.53% 3 gianna michaels 0.43% 4 freeones.com 0.37% 5 shyla stylez 0.32% 6 kagney linn karter 0.28% 7 rachel starr 0.26% 8 priya rai 0.25% 9 lisa ann 0.22% 10 phoenix marie 0.22% Well look at all those names in there. I wonder how many other thousands of search terms they dominate with similar. This is a big, self sub staining circle. Now if you start a site you want to be listed because they have the traffic but they have the traffic because so many before you started sites. My point being, if this guy wants to step back and try something different, fuck anyone for bitching at him about it. |
Dummies. You take all the traffic you can get. PERIOD.
If he's lost control of these particular hoochies, then he goes and finds different ones and makes new content, but under NO circumstance do you EVER - and I mean EVER - turn away quality traffic. If you haven't mastered that idea by this time, you don't have a lot of hope of making your retirement nut in this business, and then you should be looking for a new line of work. |
