If the mac os is worth the extra $$$ then sure go get one.

Got my first mac this year purely as a test machine, don't use it for anything other than testing browser compatibility though. Decentish iMac. Still PC 99.9% of the way.

Fuck me, that's a very expensive way to do what http://browsershots.org/ does.

I use Mac to do most of my workload. But I do have a pc laptop to make sure all my work is correct, and that all my websites look correct. I found that editing photos and video is so much easier on a mac. I know of other webmasters that swear by the pc, but I must say I am a mac girl. To each his own ;)

Used Mac for a while but promptly dumped it when Windows 7 came out. Vista pissed me off but Win7 is great. Put my Macs on Craigslist and never looked back.

PC, but new machine will be on ubuntu linux with gnome shell, will use windows inside virtual machine. Linux is simply FASTER, more STABLE and each day there is more apps! Also you can run all windows apps inside windows virtual machine.

People that use Windows think Macs are overpriced and used by hipsters.

People that use OSX thinks Windows is used by people that don't know better.

People that use linux have beards and are virgins.

However, arguing about operating systems is fucking boring.

You aren't cooler than someone else because you use a certain OS.

It's as dull as arguing about phones.

Pick an OS you like. Use it. STFU.

LOL. I have a fucking plantronics headset on. No one can EVER look cool in a headset.

If you look in those threads, I usually am saying how fucking pointless it is arguing with someone who likes another operating system.

Whether or not I use a mac doesn't make me cool. Everything else about me does.

But please, take some time out of your day and explain why it is sensible to argue over operating systems. Or phones. Go on.

When you're right, you're right. I officially retract my earlier statement.

People are extremely passionate about their computers, religion and politics (Mac users, Christians and Republicans are idiots by the way). Sometimes it's just good fun to pick a fight about any of those topics. Productive? Probably not. Sensible? I guess that depends on how much you like to argue.

Personally I love a good, mature debate that eventually deteriorates into a discussion about who should perform fellatio on whom. That's what GFY is all about.
