I was just looking at something similar the other day with my gf's class and some assignments. it is "new math" but its to get kids to think outside the box. most kids, and even people i know, only can recite things and have no clue how to get to the answer... this is helping them LEARN :thumbsup

What's the point? Math is a waste. When was the last time you needed to long division at the supermarket? Better yet - If you had to do long division at the supermarket, what are the odds that you have the caculator on your cell phone handy?
