Last week sales were really good; this week they started off terrible! Had to switch cascades a lot, make phone calls, send emails, etc etc. "Cyber Monday" was shitty, too.

So all you can do is, like you said, work harder during the down times. Oh - and in january Vjo I'll be adding THE hottest website I have to my affiliate program, PeabodyCash, and then it will be cha-ching! for my buddy Vjo.

Still sucking dick here. Ya know thing is for the period I am just a bit below average, only because I had a couple superb days around the 18th 19th. So I think I am really just being held back by statistical averages.

The last 8 days are so bad that I cant believe I am actually not too bad for the period (which is how you have to look at it)

I think from the time we send our first 100 hits, based on 10,000 variables, we are immediately locked into a ratio and altho we can tweak it, without major changes a certain traffic is help in check by the ratio and if you go up you will go down. And vice versa. If you send a certain number of hits over a certain time x surfers will join based on the predetermined mathematical ratio.

It is all out of our hands. :) So look at the whole period is what I am telling myself. Forget that it sucks the last week.

Fucken snowed last night while I was comiserating on the board so up after a couple hours sleep to deal with that. :Oh crap

Today has been slow (30th Nov), but the weekend was amazing. It's been a rollercoaster ride this month, but somehow it's ended up being the best since my good old days in 2008.

I have never even come close to doing as bad a 1:1000 and from what I have been reading that sounds good. My site does not get a lot of traffic and none of it is junk so that must be why.

The simple answer to this question is the problem of minimum payouts. You can send 100 sales, 1 to 100 different sites, and never get paid out on any sales because you haven't reached the minimum payout threshold.

The deeper answer is not all clicks are created equal. Sending tranny-seeking traffic to a straight dating site isn't a profitable venture. Matching your customer to your product is key in improving your ratios.

See? It's not all numbers and philosophy :)

Good points Elli. I have about 10 sponsors I gave up on where they all owe me a balance. And all the time wasted implimenting a strategy with a sponsor. So yes, HAMMER 4 rather than nibble with 50. And networks like Zambaio, CCBill count as one of course.

And in about 1990 I noticed that smiling to the new generation hurt my tips. lol True. They dont respect happiness. :) So I learned not to be too smiley. :) Or I got no tips.
