I have to admit that this was pretty cool. I clicked the link expecting to see more bullshit like you usually see, but there are a few pretty cool things:

1. The crowd reaction in the first clip sounds genuine.
2. The second angle. In order to get a rough idea of size and location of anything you need at least 2 reference points.

Nope, not fake at all. What makes you think its fake? There's dozens of eye witnesses to corroborate the story too. That being said, its probably just a helicopter or weather ballon.

Pretty weird.

Probably because A) advanced warning was not provided so the people with good cameras could show up; and B) lights like that don't show up very well during the daylight hours.
