Sounds like blogblueprint from mainstream...

So if you signup for a month, do a bunch of posts, then let your membership lapse, do the posts remain "forever"?

They have hundreds of blogs... You can post up to 20 "snippits" a day... Those get posted out on a bunch of the blogs.

Do the posts get put on every blog in the network? or do you limit it?

i will need to give a try to compare with our system. there are lots of article or blog submitting tools, but i believe none of them supports posts in form of plugs and the blogs are most third party junky blogs.
you can select up to 5 categories and get the matching blogs where you want to post
