Where were the tears? I agree it's a waste of time and money doing this at all and especially to a six year old but that seemed to be handled rather properly by the TSA. In the end they are just doing what they're told to, you probably would do the same if that was your job.

I absolutely do not want to be on a plane that blows up because TSA missed the "Diaper" bomber.


People looking to do bad shit, do not play by any certain set of rules. Terrorist will not get you where you are expecting them try. They will get you where you least expect it. They have in the past and we would be stupid to think that it would never happen again in the future.



I have kids. A 3 year old and an 8 month old and i did not think that that TSA work did not do anything wrong. It is a job an it needs to be done as a terrorist deterrent and as safety measurement.

why even have patdowns? pretty sure el al does not do patdowns/xrays/invasive searches. they're pretty safe right? i've never flown them.

You are correct sir, the Israelis are probably the biggest target in the world and they do not perform these kind of intrusive practices. What they do is pre-screen everyone who approaches their airports by walking up and

Turns out a properly trained agent is able to identify behaviors consistent with a person with bad intentions. The ones they spot are segregated for further inspection. But they do not stop there, the outside screening is just the first step with people during the entire process of boarding a plane trained in what to look for.

If someone is willing to be patted down or run through a body scanner to help them feel safer then good for them, I consider it a violation of personal privacy. But who cares, just one more right we should give up for the state

Yep sure nobody wants to get blown up in mid flight but I thought these full body scanners were the biz They could just ask the kids to remove thier shoes and walk through the scanner instead of giving them a body search

The security is NOT equal for everyone.

Every time I fly, it's different for me. I also see other passengers getting different treatment.

When I flew from DFW to LGA, you'd have thought I was requesting top security clearance or something. They scanned me, meticulously searched my bags, and made me take my hoodie, shoes, belts, and jewelry off.

When I came back from LGA to DFW, they didn't scan me, pat me down, NOTHING. Meanwhile, many around me were getting the full treatment.

When my best friend flew with her child, they didn't search either of them nor did they put the child's bags through the bag scanner.

So no, it's not the same for everyone.

Can compare Israel and the US. How many people that are not Israeli flying in and out of the country of Israel? How many different ethnic groups, religious groups, color groups, foreign groups, etc fly in and out of New York daily?


I would like to see Israel's top airport security team deal with a New York airport for one week with out pat downs and just with their keen Jedi training.

From what i understand, not all airports are equipped with them. Very, very expensive.



Im not a huge fan of these searches either guys, but dying in a plane that got blown up because we thought that hand searches were too much, is not a trade i want to make.


Im down for something better than getting me and my family felt up, but we don't seem to have it readily available.


And even where they are using scanners, people opt to not get scanned and rather get hand searched because of the radiation issue.

I fly several times, I have gone to second inspection many many times and they never searched me as well as they searched that little girl. I am all for safty but jesus they could of put her under the xray machine.
