Parents Threatened by TSA Before 6 Year Old was Groped, Girl then Broke Down in Tears
|
its beyond ridiculous i agree
|
the u.s. is not a police state but tsa needs to be reigned in.
|
Where were the tears? I agree it's a waste of time and money doing this at all and especially to a six year old but that seemed to be handled rather properly by the TSA. In the end they are just doing what they're told to, you probably would do the same if that was your job.
|
Did not see a problem with that.
There are a lot of people that will use their own children as mules to transport all kinds of things. As long as they search everyone equally, i ok with it. |
the agent seemed very gentle with the kid. there are worse things in the world.
|
Stop fucking whining. It's not like she was molested people need to get over it.
I turned down the body scanner each time and they give me a pat down. People need to stop being such whiny bitches. |

only a pervert would see that as sexual.

don't let gfy get to you :upsidedow |
Dont they have walk through scanners that can pick up weapons and drugs instead of doing that to kids

i guess this guy's a perv too "This conduct is in clear violation of TSA's explicit policy not to conduct thorough pat-downs on children under the age of 13," Rep. Jason Chaffetz, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on National Security, said in a statement Wednesday. |
They shouldn't fly if they have a problem with it...
|
i agree if you have a problem with that kind of shit then dont fucking fly
it makes me feel all safe and warm and toasty to see videos like that |

This is what is being done to everyone. All adults and all kids. We have uncovered "shoe bombers," "underwear bombers" as a result of these searches. I absolutely do not want to be on a plane that blows up because TSA missed the "Diaper" bomber. People looking to do bad shit, do not play by any certain set of rules. Terrorist will not get you where you are expecting them try. They will get you where you least expect it. They have in the past and we would be stupid to think that it would never happen again in the future. I have kids. A 3 year old and an 8 month old and i did not think that that TSA work did not do anything wrong. It is a job an it needs to be done as a terrorist deterrent and as safety measurement. I will be the 1st to say that it sux, but it needs to be done. Its not like the child is being separated from his or her parents and put into a separate room to be searched without the parents present.:2 cents: |
why even have patdowns? pretty sure el al does not do patdowns/xrays/invasive searches. they're pretty safe right? i've never flown them.

But my point being is that the TSA has to be on alert for stupid shit like that. Hey, it would be great if we can go back to the way shit was before 911, but we cant. I dont dig on being searched or my kids being searched, but when i see all of the kids and people getting searched before me and after me the exact same way, i am OK with that. The only thing that i will not ever be OK with is my plane being blown up, because TSA did not do there job good enough.:2 cents: |
That's almost a rape! Fuck you TSA! Fucking gestapos!

gasp talking to them Turns out a properly trained agent is able to identify behaviors consistent with a person with bad intentions. The ones they spot are segregated for further inspection. But they do not stop there, the outside screening is just the first step with people during the entire process of boarding a plane trained in what to look for. If someone is willing to be patted down or run through a body scanner to help them feel safer then good for them, I consider it a violation of personal privacy. But who cares, just one more right we should give up for the state |

The security is NOT equal for everyone.
Every time I fly, it's different for me. I also see other passengers getting different treatment. When I flew from DFW to LGA, you'd have thought I was requesting top security clearance or something. They scanned me, meticulously searched my bags, and made me take my hoodie, shoes, belts, and jewelry off. When I came back from LGA to DFW, they didn't scan me, pat me down, NOTHING. Meanwhile, many around me were getting the full treatment. When my best friend flew with her child, they didn't search either of them nor did they put the child's bags through the bag scanner. So no, it's not the same for everyone. |

Can compare Israel and the US. How many people that are not Israeli flying in and out of the country of Israel? How many different ethnic groups, religious groups, color groups, foreign groups, etc fly in and out of New York daily? I would like to see Israel's top airport security team deal with a New York airport for one week with out pat downs and just with their keen Jedi training. In short, its easy to spot a non-Israeli terrorist in an airport, in Israel, full of Israeli people.:2 cents: |
I'm against the pat downs, but the TSA lady was very respectful and didn't do anything wrong to the little girl

Where were the tears, did you make up that thread title to increase views?

Im not a huge fan of these searches either guys, but dying in a plane that got blown up because we thought that hand searches were too much, is not a trade i want to make. Im down for something better than getting me and my family felt up, but we don't seem to have it readily available. And even where they are using scanners, people opt to not get scanned and rather get hand searched because of the radiation issue. No matter what we do or do not do, somebody will complain.:2 cents: |
I have kids.... a pat down is nothing, hell tug the little balls if you want.. that's a hell of a lot better than sending a growing body and brain through a crazy ass body scanner.
|
I fly several times, I have gone to second inspection many many times and they never searched me as well as they searched that little girl. I am all for safty but jesus they could of put her under the xray machine.
