Gonna love it when Obama is re-elected

Without a doubt, he was gonna be relected before the lastest news... this just seals his fate. Congrats on another term :thumbsup

I agree, unless someone retaliates for Osama's death and kills a bunch of Americans on US soil.

Other than that, I don't see anyone yet who is strong enough to run against him.

However, rising gas, foreclosures, and unemployment could still get a lot worse between now and election day.

Dont worry DWB.. he will pull a bit of a fix out of his ass at the right moment to get the job and then it will fall to shit again.

Agreed. I expect him to pull something to make everyone say "yeh Obama" just in time.

Wizzo 05-04-2011 07:54 AM

It will all depend on what the economy is doing 18months from now... :winkwink:

I don't think it matters in the slightest. Look at the competition Obama has. Really, who's going to beat him in campaign speeches, presidential debates, common sense, intelligence, etc...? Absolutely nobody. Especially knowing when Obama wants something, he doesn't fuck around, makes sure every last aspect is 100% covered, then goes an additional 20%. His recent "fuck you" to Trump is a good example of that.

If anything, I'd expect a Democratic majority in both houses of Congress. And I'd also guess the 2013 version of Obama isn't going to be as polite to the Republicans as before.

IF that happens, and I confess a weakness here hoping it does, lets hope they grow some balls and actually DO something for the good of the country. The left has a lot of lofty ideas/ideals but so far lack the testicular fortitude to accomplish anything :Oh crap

I sure as hell won't vote for him.

Nothing like sanctioning an assasination in another country to boost your ratings, eh?

Exactly. Who is even the front runner right now? Mike Huckabee? Who else is there.... Newt Gingrich? Not much to choose from.

There won't be another turn. Obama will destroy the world by Dec 12, 2012.

TripleXPrint 05-04-2011 09:50 AM

Based on Rasmussen Reports, Obama's approval rating jumped 11% this past week. I don't foresee it holding true and things will quickly move back to status quo. Americans have short memories and a "what can you do for me now" mentality. Unless Obama comes out with something spectacular, I don't see him making up the -13 differential. How many American's have already forgotten about the BP oil spill?

One thing Obama has done is charge his opposing electorate (Tea Party, Birthers, Conservatives, etc). They WILL turn out to vote in masse. The question now is will the same people that voted Obama into power return to the polls this time? Obama had a great campaign and a lot of people who never voted showed up at the polls. Those were the people that thought Obama was going to pay for their rent, food, and generally just start passing out money. It didn't happen so chances are they won't reappear at the polls.

Less support from the original electorate and a wild frenzy from the competition. It's going to be an exciting race but I certainly don't see Obama winning a second term.

You got the date wrong. It's Dec 21st, 2012.

Oh, and did you hear? The world is also ending on May 26th, or something too. Really, there's a pack of Christians cruising all throughout the US right now, letting everyone know the end days are near.

Oh, and the world was actually going to end last year, and a couple years before that, and a few years before that too...

LiveDose 05-04-2011 09:57 AM

Way too early to make predictions. But funny thread.

yeah I think its the 21st of this month that the second coming is happening, I really need to get some nice shirts

Tom_PM 05-04-2011 10:02 AM

Yeah I was gonna say.. it's just too early yet. There isn't even a viable GOP candidate yet is there?

TripleXPrint 05-04-2011 10:03 AM

People like this not voting this time around is going to hurt Obama more than anything else.

I agree. In Sept 2012 if the unemployment rate is around 6% or less and there have been no major scandals he will be very hard to beat. The republicans will have very little firepower to go after him with. However, if the economy is still sluggish, gas is $5+ per gallon and things are not looking good in Afghanistan he could be vulnerable.

There isn't a republican potential candidate out there that doesn't have some kind of flaw so it isn't like he likely won't have a very formidable opponent, but if the economy isn't doing well and the republican has some legit ideas on how to fix it he could make some noise wit that.

BFT3K 05-04-2011 12:28 PM

The Republitards own congress, so where are the jobs?

History shows us what happened when the GOP had 8 years of power, with 6 dominated by ownership of both houses. They failed!

If the economy is exactly like it is right now, and the GOP still has no sensible plan to change the status quo, Obama still wins.

No one is voting for a party that offers NO PLAN OR VISION for the future.

It'll never happen. The same thing will happen that ALWAYS happens when they control congress. They will bend over backwards to try to be bipartisan and republicans will scream that they are steamrolling everything and not acting bipartisan.

You have a very valid point, I've yet to see anyone who can seriously run against him.

onwebcam 05-04-2011 12:43 PM

This little scam is blowing up in his face and I'm enjoying every last minute of it. People I know who would have never questioned a thing the government did are now questioning it all. All because of this little psyop.

I'm looking forward to a public hanging of many so called leaders when it's all said and done.

:Oh crap yeah I know, it's damned depressing is what it is. I like to give myself happy thoughts every now and then so I'm gonna dream LOL

IllTestYourGirls 05-04-2011 02:16 PM

Better take a look at the electoral college map for 2012. Since people are fleeing failed left leaning states and moving to right leaning states the numbers of EC in many of the states Obama won last time around are going down by 1 or 2. However, I think with the controlled media and msnbc and cnn carrying his water, Obama will win.

As for the dems controlling both houses? lol, most political experts are saying its another day of reckoning for the dems in 2012. I am not saying the Reps are going to do any better. Just pointing out the landscape.

Democrats had power the last 4 years and spent 5 trillion in debt, where are the jobs?

Ask Pelosi!!~

Minte 05-04-2011 02:35 PM

Yes 5 trillion more in debt. Here in Wisconsin it's really starting to take hold . Yesterday the Milwaukee Public School system announced they are going to have to lay off nearly 1000 employees and close schools because of lack of funds.

The economy is going to dictate the next administration. And there is not a lot of time left for things to improve.

Assuming there are witnesses (which implies CIA asset Osama was really there) their stories are going highlight more lies by the Government.

Thing is what are they going to say? Osama was captured and then executed in front of his family? Republicans aren't going to have a problem with that. They simply cannot attack Obama on this because they'd be attacking the SEALS (this year's FDNY of 2001) and the assassination of Bin Laden.

The only people who are going to be upset aren't going to vote Republican anyway.

Having said all that, by the election next year, nobody is going remember this week, let alone give a fuck enough to vote Obama because of it. What always matters to people is security.

And security for 99.9% of people (all over the world actually) means not having to worry about food on the table and roof over their heads; not some dead terrorist killed 18 months ago, 10,000 miles away.

Now, with his popularity as high as it will get before the next election, is actually a really good time to place a bet on Obama losing.

There are far more dems up for reelection and with redistricting after the 2010 census, yeah it looks like 2012 may be a good year for congressional republicans.

There are already a ton of recall efforts taking place there.

No sense pulling money out of defense, or from tax subsidies for the big corps. Best to pull the money out of education instead! :thumbsup

Brilliant stuff! [/sarcasm]
