Who are the top 10 photographers in the industry?
You've seen their work and think DAMN, the work is exceptional.
Who are you favorites that you have seen on and off the boards? Dean Capture and SDA Eddie are among the top of my list. |
fuck off goof.

Richard Avery
Brigham Field Filippo Sano Petter Hegre Craig Morey Dean Tammy Sands Michael White Ellen Stagg |

Jack Harrison
Bill Wright Viv Thomas Steve Hicks Micheal Ancher Han Londoner Probably a few more as well, but that will do for now. And before you bleat they don't shoot for online. They all will if you could afford them. It's all about the money. |
It's really hard to decide between nalem and dvtimes.
|
the top 5 of all time...
dylon dylon dylon dylon dylon because he spit hot fire mon |
You are not in that list... :pimp
|
It all depends on the criteria given. Most photographers shoot the same thing all the time and would probably only shoot another style not quite as well as someone who does shoot such a style all the time.
The lists in here so far are pretty good. I would add 5 or 10 more names I know of, but then again the names being seen are the most notorious usually; the ones that are attached to big programs, etc. Photography is artistic and subjective. Some people like your shit, some people don't. What really usually matters is...... are you getting paid for it? That's about all that counts. |

I agree with many of these, specially Dean Capture who is not only talented but a genuinely good guy.
What surprises me is that nobody mentioned Ken Marcus, |

Great list everyone. :2 cents: :2 cents: When I get some free time away from posting here :winkwink: I definitely will start looking up each photographer.
I agree 110% that any appreciation for a particular photographer is subject to liking/connecting with their particular style. Should any of you care to share links to you favorite photographers portfolio, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you. |
not us for sure - but still we sold content for a couple of million usd so far
|
anybody remember matti klatt? he was pretty fucking good. holly randall has certainly stepped it up big time over the years while IMO suze has lost her eye, prolly due to being distracted raising horses and such....

When it comes to being in the top of your profession, you have to play in the top leagues. Simply put if you were shooting prior to 2007 and weren't selling to magazines, as a photographer you were either losing a ton of money or not good enough. Blunt but true. No online company paid an independent shooter what magazines did. Quote:
