Honestly,... do you believe in aliens?
Been thinking about things and wondering what you guys think to.
|
They are there and they are here. NO biggie.
|
yes but not in aliens visiting us

I think that there is probably life some where in the vastness of the universe that is alien to life on earth. I think the human animal will probably become extinct before there is ever any contact with "intelligent" alien life because of the time constraints involved in the vastness of the universe. |
I believe that the possibillity definately exists. It would seem quite odd that we are the only living species.
|
* Statistically it would be almost impossible that there wouldn't any life on other planets.
* If there's life on other planets, it would be highly unlikely that Earth would have been the first planet with an 'advanced' civilization. (certainly given the position of our galaxy within the universe). * According to the Everett interpretation of quantum physics there's a very large number of (parallel) universes. If this is true, then it is possible that life on Earth in some of those parallel universes has evolved differently from life in 'our' universe. These lifeforms would then appear 'alien' to us. |
Yes, I believe in aliens. Have the visited us? Most likely not.

About aliens, there is a possibility of their existence .. but no proof or sighting has been done yet. All that shit is fake. |
It is almost mathmatically impossible that aliens do not exist - if they have been here? well, thats another matter.
|
I think it would be naive not to. The universe is so large it is beyond our comprehension, and within that vast area MUST be life somewhere else, and there is a good chance it is intelligent life.
In regards to have aliens visited Earth, I don't see why not. If we were able to travel to other planets far away, we would do the same. I also don't believe the religious powers of the world would allow such news to be confirmed, as it may shatter their very existence and their money making enterprise. Not to mention, religion is the ultimate form of control. I can't imagine what so many people would do if they found out their God was a hoax. |
The Bible says they don't exist, so no.
|
If there's cash involved I'll believe anything ...
|
They exist and many post on GFY. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Never believed in aliens.
|
It's crazy to think that with billion of planets out there that we're the only sign of life.
|
Yes, i live next to some !
|
Nope.
Watch most documentaries on tv and they'll tell you most planets would have no chance of any life ever existing. UFO's is the one that gets me. Here we are talking about life which is smart enough to design and build UFO's which travel at ridiculous speeds, travel much further than we could possibly imagine, travel to Earth only to get a quick peek before quickly leaving again. I just don't see how it's even possible... |

Them illegal aliens are bad enough but now they're comin' from up there...no border patrol in space!
|
I believe that the odds are that there is other, advanced life on another planet. However, I find it highly unlikely that we have "aliens" who have visited the Earth. Clearly they would have had sent probes first, and we would have detected these or other wise have proof of them.
Did it ever occur to anyone that there might be intelligent life out there, but they might not be as advanced as we are? |
I believe aliens visited here ages ago.
. |
The universe is 45 billion light years, ever see pictures taken from the hubble telescope? Of course there's intelligent life out there somewhere. We are only one of five hundred thousand GALAXIES in the universe.
|
Aliens exist - but not is the form that you see in movies, it would be native to think in the whole entire universe only earth has forms of life.
Awesome vid. |
If they could come to out planet, they would have already killed or enslave us all.

Haven't they found the remains of life in meteorites or something like that?
Odds are they do exist. But traveling across the vast expanses of space isn't something that anyone has even got close to figuring out, the only theory they can come up with is to bend space. like a flat piece of paper, flat the 2 opposite corners are far apart. Folded they're next to each other. Nice theory, but no one knows how to do it. |
I have a couple working for me.
|
Interdimensionals.

Yes I do, I still have to see one yet. I'll post about it in the case I do.

I think other intelligent life forms are out there and I think it is possible they might have stopped by. Frequently or thousands or millions of years ago, through space, other dimensions or other methods we haven't figured out yet, I think it is very possible they could have been here or are here currently.
Things I consider: 1. Lifespan. A mayfly only lives 24 hours which would make our life spans seem like an eternity to them. For example, our 74 years (est) life expectancy x 365 days = 27,010 mayfly lifetimes. If there was a life form out there that had the same relation to us then one lifetime for them would be almost two million years for us. If we lived for two million years then our perception of how long it takes to travel around space might not be as overwhelming or unrealistic. 2. Our understanding of what is possible with speed. Just because our current understanding of speed puts a limit on it doesn't mean there is a speed limit. It just means we don't know how to go faster. I haven't followed up on it but I read recently a group of scientists might have surpassed the speed of light. 3. Our understanding of space and technology. We have theories about worm holes, etc. but if a civilization has been around longer they might have found other methods of travel we don't yet understand. For all we know they can 'beam' to our atmosphere or to a specific location on whatever planet or object in space they choose. With all of that said, somebody has to be the first. I just don't think it is us. |
Really great video narrated by Carl Sagan. Really gives you some perspective on how small the earth is.
