Male Cop Beats lady for not putting her phone down

http://www.hoodtube.com/2366/woman-c...aught-on-tape/

Sioux City Police released a version of the dashboard camera tape, where Officer Jeremy McClure narrates step by step what happened that day.

The woman in the tape is 34 year?old Dacosta Daniels of Sioux City. In plain clothes is Officer J. Tyler with a second officer in uniform. The only voice you'll hear on the tape is McClure. The original dash cam video has no audio. Police say Dacosta was seen in a car with a man who was part of an ongoing investigation, the reason police pulled the car over initially.

When the uniformed officer arrived on the scene the male driver that was observed by the plain clothes officer had fled the area. When Dacosta's cell phone rang, the officer told her not to answer it. For safety reasons, and so she didn't hamper their investigation.

"She refuses to comply with his orders and assaults him. The uniform officer steps in to assist and warns her that she could be tased," said McClure.l "...she is repeatedly ordered to release his shirt and comply with his order to put her hands behind her back. The officer continues to try and gain her compliance."

She continues to pull her arms away. Once officers got her in cuffs, the scene changes. The officers de?escalate the response to her resistance. Daniels was charged with assaulting an officer. Police say would not had been arrested had she not resisted. The officers actions in the tape have been reviewed. They've been cleared of any wrongdoing.

I will support the cops most of the time, because they have fucked up job and have to deal with defiant assholes like this fucking troll.

But he definitely went too far. You can't be punching some girl in the back repeatedly when she was not physically hurting you. You can't preemptively punch a bitch when you're a cop.

It's ok to do it if you're not a cop.

_Richard_ 10-27-2011 10:24 AM

that being said, i am pretty sure i'd be eating pavement if i sat on some police officers car while he was trying to question me

SuckOnThis 10-27-2011 10:27 AM

When do cops NOT get away with shit?

No one was beaten...and a perfectly reasonable arrest was made.

spunky99 10-27-2011 10:49 AM

why did she fight back? she had no reason to. its simple, you listen to them, do what they say and it'll be fine, get ghetto on them and they will react. she didnt need to answer her phone

kane 10-27-2011 10:56 AM

OP makes it sound like it is a lot worse than it really is. They also leave out the part where you can clearly she her somewhat hit/grab the cop and try to get away. She is clearly resisting them and the whole thing is over in about 20 seconds. to me looks like nothing wrong happened here other than I lost 7 minutes of my life I won't get back watching the video.

baddog 10-27-2011 11:00 AM

It is called resisting arrest. Stop it.

FreeHugeMovies 10-27-2011 11:06 AM

Did she listen to him? NO SHE DID NOT! She deserved EVERYTHING she got.

Spunky 10-27-2011 11:08 AM

That deserved a belly club to the noodle for that

SuckOnThis 10-27-2011 11:33 AM

This is what the Denver cops do when you're on a cell phone.....

Notice how the camera (ran by the cops) redirects when the beating starts.

LAJ 10-27-2011 11:42 AM

I'm not a fan of the cops, but what kind of IDIOT assaults a police officer?

It's real simple... comply... keep your hands where they can be seen, and STFU.

Yeah, but have you surfed youtube lately?

It's shittier than his.

At least his videos match the title.

Youtube has become one long ass "Rick Roll".

It's one thing to not like the content, it's another thing for the content to
not even be there when you click the title.

Did you actually watch the video?

He tells her to put the phone down and she doesn't. When he moves in to arrest her because she won't put the phone down he turns her around and goes to put the handcuffs on her. She then spins around, hits him in the chest, grabs his shirt and pulls him down on top of her. Did you not see that? Then the other cop steps in and she is clearly thrashing around and resisting arrest. She brought this shit on herself. She could have just did as they told her and hung the phone up or at least when they went to handcuff her she could have opted not to fight with them.

He wasn't hitting her over a cell phone. He was hitting her because she was resisting arrest.

Rochard 10-27-2011 12:12 PM

Seems to me she was talking to police and decided that answering her fucking cell phone was more important? Really? The police officer her told her multiple times to put the cell phone down, she failed to comply, and he went to restrain her - and she fought back. Sorry, a police officer restrains you, all bets are off.

She continued to resist arrest. Sorry, you disrespect cops, refuse to comply with a direct order, and then resist arrest... Your gonna get hurt. If a police officer has to say "let go of me" more than once and you fail to comply, your gonna smacked.

stocktrader23 10-27-2011 12:21 PM

God damn the brainwashing runs deep. If the idiots here saw how I've spoken to police in the past they'd be screaming for me to get a beat down to. She will win her lawsuit, this is ridiculous and fuck anyone apologizing for this shit.

stocktrader23 10-27-2011 12:22 PM

It has already been ruled by the courts that you have the right to resist unlawful arrest up to KILLING the fucking pig that is trying to arrest you. Keep that in mind before running off at the mouth with your "Obey, Obey, Obey" bullshit.

You can make those points but the cop still used crazy neck wrenching force to
take the phone away.

People are not robots and they react when the violence against them is at that
level. If you put someone in a choke hold you can count on their body to react to
fight back. They think they are being killed rather than being restrained.

The female is not doing the right thing but neither is the cop.

In fact I think the plain clothes cop is rather nasty and over did it whether legal
or not.

Pipecrew 10-27-2011 12:35 PM

that is the slowest fucking tube in the history of the planet

MrBottomTooth 10-27-2011 12:40 PM

LOL at him threatening to punch her in the back, then when he does the punches don't even have any effect. He was probably expecting her to double over in pain, but she just kept staring at him in defiance.:1orglaugh

Was she being placed under arrest? If so was it a lawful arrest? You have every right to defend yourself against certain things, a uniform does not make you God.

Fletch XXX 10-27-2011 12:48 PM

i wont say whether or not she did anything wrong, but really, the way that cop raises and balls his fist, you know he treats his wife the same way. how come so many cops enjoy victimizing women?

he then begins punching her in her spine, yeah thats police procedure for sure! she wasnt even doing anything and he starts grabbing her by the neck and punching her in the back, what a joke, plain as day police brutality.

:1orglaugh

halfpint 10-27-2011 12:50 PM

Fucking pussy police punching a woman. The more I see of these types of videos the more disrespect I have for them. I guess that must be part of their training, punching a woman to try and restrain her, haha funny shit.

I was thinking the exact same thing...

This seems to happen quite a bit, and I am surprised cops don't actually get shot at by the owners when this happens.

People are crazy about their pets, and to many, the instinct to protect them is similar to protecting a child. This could really snap a person into doing something they normally wouldn't do.

If you ever want to win the hearts and minds of the public skip the videos of people abusing people and go straight to the pets. Hell KRL was here raising money for people to go rescue dogs and cats during Katrina while people were dying in their houses.

This is very true...

Assuming everything equal (commercial length, etc), it would be interesting to know the difference in donation amounts between "help the abused animals" infomercials and "save the hungry children of Africa" ones.

"help the abused animals" wins in a landslide.
