That's bad ass. I didn't think any other gun besides the P90 had a horizontal loading system. The 100 round capacity on that .22 makes it a hell lotta fun plinking.

VikingMan 12-15-2011 10:42 PM

Nice, here is mine. Just took it to the range this last weekend for the first time and it is lots of fun. This is going to be my hiking gun.

10mm damn, you hiking with bears?

Yeah we see lots of black bears. I wear bells and carry pepper spray and that has worked so far. But a guy was killed by a mountain goat this year so there are various animals to worry about. BTW, I do not enjoy shooting animals one bit.

With the right load a 10mm is about as powerful as a 41 magnum. Only difference is you get 15 shots with a 10 mm :)

GFED 12-15-2011 11:02 PM

here is my baby... i'm saving up for a nice ar15 and would like to get another handgun with higher capacity like a glock or xdm.

Yeah I loaded it up was walking around the backyard with my daughter while shooting rounds off in the ground to the tune of "white Christmas". I bet her a dollar she couldnt guess the song I was singing with the rounds. So funny. She was like Dad you are the biggest redneck I know. hahaha

The 9mm comes with both a 50 round and a 100 round clip. It's surprisingly lightweight even when fully loaded. No recoil at all and very accurate.

Nice, but you gotta have a big hand to handle that yes? Not meaning the recoil I mean the sheer size of the grip.

Yeah I have XL gorilla hands for some reason even though I am only average height. I actually like the Springfield XDM better than Glocks but Springfield does not make a 10 mm. I like that the FBI stopped issuing the 10 mm to their agents because it was too much for them to handle:winkwink: The Glocks also don't rust because those crazy Austrians treat the metal with a special process.

Pretty serious toy.
It seems that version 22 is more handy and balanced. But first one looks more "classic".

I was thinking of picking up a M1A from Springfield Armory, granted it's not a M1 Grand but still a nice rifle. I'd like a nice 1911 as well is that their Mil Spec model?

Sounds like we'd get along quite nice. I love taking my .22 out back and just running through rounds. That's one great thing about 22's is how cheap the ammo is :winkwink:

Actually the 9mm is more balanced especially when some rounds are in the mag. I thought it would shoot like shit but wow was I surpised. Light enough even when loaded to handle easy with one hand.

It's the GI model, but if I had to choose again I'd go for the Mil Spec just for the few small upgrades like the better sites and the ejection port that keeps the brass from hitting you in the face. I think they extended the beaver tail a little bit on them too.

Choker,

Slide Fire Solutions is about to release an AK-47 version of their stock. Here it is on a Saiga 12.

VikingMan 12-16-2011 11:16 AM

Choker do you have a Remington 870 12 gauge yet? I picked one up and had it Cerakoted so it does not rust and also bought an extra 18" barrel. This is my favorite gun of all time and if I could only own one weapon this would be it. This is the shotgun that is used for sound effects in movies and video games so an intruder/criminal/robber/murderer/rapist scumbag only has to hear you chamber a round to make him pee his pants.

Bit much for a 12 guage unless your a very big guy, I love my AR15's with the slide stock, looking forward to the AK47 version. I picked up 6 Saigi 12 guages for a great price, only problem is they are factory set for 3 inch shells. I need to find that tool for adjusting the chamber.

xNetworx 12-16-2011 12:36 PM

No I dont. I have like 3 Mossberg 500s and 5 Saigis. I'm not much of a shotgun person. I'm not a big guy so even with 2 3/4 shells I get sore real fast. For fun I prefer AR15s. For home defense I keep a AK47 in the bedroom and a couple AR15 pistols stashed thruought the house. Might sound like overkill but I live on a 2 acre lot in the sticks so I have to be prepared for intruders both inside and outside the house. A month ago I heard someone blast thru a 30 round clip at 2am behind my house. Called the cops and after 45 minutes they showed up. LOL. Can't depend on them at all.

hottoddy 12-16-2011 09:11 PM

Sweet, but I'm not exactly sure what it is. I'll have to do some research.

Here's my new toy. Sig Sauer P226 in .40 S&W. Holds 12 + 1 in the chamber with the standard flush magazine. I've only put about 250 rounds through it, but has run flawlessly so far. It's my nightstand safe gun.

P.s. There's no tupperware on this Sig unless you count the polymer grips :)
