This is the Popeye's up the street from my house. Well...2 miles down into the hood.

There are a few nights each week you can drive by and the drive thru line is 30 deep backed out into the street.



Now I want some and it's too late to venture down there to get some.

I went as far as looking them up and calling to see if they were open.

I was about to go and hit the drive in, but they close early here...considering the clientele (ie. late night hood rat crowd).

I think we actually go back and forth every few years with Buffalo for highest per capita Murder rate in NYS.

The worst part is that there used to be a real fried chicken place across the street. Some chinese took it over and now they sell there shit and some awful variation of the good ole fried chicken place used to make.
