Unexpected Visitor during the night

So I'm up in the middle of the night (4ish) like usual, when I her some rustling coming from the kitchen. I'm thinking its one of the cats trying to get to their food.

Put the light on, nothing, no cat, noise stopped. Shake the dog food bag, open it, nothing in there.

So I'm thinking must be hearing things, sat back down to the laptop, a minute later the rustling starts again.

I'm thinking , wtf ? Go back to the kitchen, move a few of the pet food bags around and lo and behold ...........

which is exactly why you shouldnt be poisining anything !

it is possible for a person to use their brains and solve a problem without killing something isnt it ?

why would you need to kill that poor little mouse. how about just tossing it outside and making sure to remove food sources if your that terrified of a fucking mouse :1orglaugh

fucking pathetic

BIGTYMER 04-21-2012 05:52 PM

Let it go a bit away from your house. If you let it go close it'll come right back.

DVTimes 04-21-2012 05:55 PM

I have a mouse in the house.

I have one of those traps that does not harm it.

i use peanut butter.

trubble is, is that its worked out how to keep the trap open.

i am on my 3rd jar of peanut buttter.

and if i do not feed it, it makes a right noise at night.

he walk past me yesterday with not a care in the world.

mailman 04-21-2012 05:58 PM

lazy cats!

alias 04-21-2012 05:59 PM

Poison is not good unless you have a real infestation.

u-Bob 04-21-2012 06:10 PM

It's what they bring that is more of a concern to me.of course live traps are the best if you have pets.

"Mice can at times be harmful rodents, damaging and eating crops, causing structural damage and spreading diseases through their parasites and feces. In North America, breathing dust that has come in contact with mouse excrement has been linked to hantavirus, which may lead to Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS)."

Rochard 04-21-2012 06:49 PM

Seems your cats are lazy.

kane 04-21-2012 06:58 PM

It reminds me of when I was a kid. We moved into a new place that had sat empty for several months before we moved in. The first night we lived there someone broke in. My mom heard them knock on the door (I guess they were checking to see if the house was still empty). She got up and as she got to the living room they were standing there. They saw her and took off running. She calls the police. When the cops walk in THEN the dog woke up and started barking.

Chosen 04-21-2012 08:01 PM

Looks like mouse :upsidedow

dont know what happened.............. Usually they are on top of their game, bring more dead ones to the door then you can shake a stick at. But this one they just totally ignored:1orglaugh Both of them are hunters, the big grey one caught a Rabbit the other day, so they are not slouches, when it comes to hunting. and NOW...............

The question that has been asked a few times, what happened to the mouse ???

I took the bag outside and let it go:1orglaugh:1orglaugh the softie that I am.:winkwink: I was gonna take pics, but it was raining and did'nt want the camera to get wet.

Yeah I know, mean Bastard, throwing a poor little mouse out in the rain:Oh crap

If the rest of your house is like this, it's no wonder that it's attracting pests. :2 cents:

Now, how did I know someone was going to post that ? The pic is from the back entrance, where you chuck your shoes off, if you feel like it, otherwise just come in with shoes on. This is a lived in house, a former cottage, not a show palace and it shall remain that way:thumbsup

How did you know that someone was going to comment that your house looks pretty dirty?

Uh, maybe it's because your house looks pretty dirty...

Not that your living in filth bothers me. More power to you. :thumbsup

Why are you so touchy about this? :1orglaugh

It's just a fact that dirty and filthy environments attract pests. Pest control is mainly about prevention.
