CCBill - it's getting out of hands
 

My sales with CCBill have never been that bad and i also see my 10k of CCBill referred webmasters in decline as well.

For over than 30 days they can't fix their stuff. Admin isn't loading for hour. Sales are getting lower day after day. Refunds... Well there're more than enough refunds.

Can CCBill guys tell us when it's going to recover?

Billing with a credit card is so 2006 it's all about branding now find and try :)

This week has been awful after 2 record breaking weeks in a row

sales are in waves, every 3 or 4 days we have an excellent day then it crashes over night, we are not talking fluctuations of 5%, it drops 70% overnight, its a fuckin mess. For years it was like clockwork, i could set my watch by the number of sales at any given time in the day. That was until 1 year ago when something, somewhere changed, fuck knows what though.

Do they give some explanation,or just ignoring these posts?

Well, all I can say is this..

As anyone, we have good and bad days or even good and bad periods.
Before, when few bad days came in a row I (or some partner or some friend) tested it with my own card and membership was successfully bought. No error or wierd occurence.

So the basic logic tells me, it is all ok with ccbill and people should look / analyse their own sites, do people even want to join them?

I made 0 ccbill referral sales last week. I've had 2 sales so far this week. Not good but better than last week.

Yes the CCBill admin is painful to use and so I have recently tried using Verotel and Epoch for type-in traffic sales. However, we have noticed no better conversions in the last week or two. In fact the last week has been especially poor, so I don't think we can jump in and blame CCBill!

This is only one of the problems that a webmaster who promotes affiliate sites has. Many things can go wrong with stats and sales. I feel the worst thing is when you can't sign in and view your own stats - if you can't sign in half the time - wonder where their tracking systems are, on vacation, too.

This is not just for CCBill but others too.

Another big problem we have had in this industry for years is chargebacks - ya tink sum1 wood figer out a way to prevent so many chargebacks too.

I came back in here to say exactly this. My CCBill sales are fairly stable as I don't get any SE traffic at all. It's all purchased traffic. Yeah this week is a bit lower than expected but not a large enough variance to be concerned about - besides the week aint over.

Why does everything decrease accept the hits to the join forms?

If tube sites, keywords rankings, piracy,pass word sites,file sharing sites, global warming, tax season,recession, and what ever clever cutting edge ideas we assert were affecting sales....

Wouldn't logic dictate to everyone that if you were seeing traffic decreases, affiliate decreases, sales decreases, wouldn't you expect to see decreases in form hits?

All I can confirm is increased uniques, increased keywords, increased affiliates,better key word rankings, increased *FORM HITS* ......................and *DECREASED FORM SUBMISSIONS

I would have thought form hits would drop off with the drop off of everything else, but for some reason more and more customers are making it to the join form than ever.

Would you be willing to post a weeks worth of join form submissions percentages....I would like to see what steady percentages look like according to you.

I have my own idea of what steady percentages looks like and I wanted to know if you would be brave enough to post 7 in a row of join form submission percentages.

you do not even have to post the days of the week or dates, jut the percentages such as 15%,25%,30%,2%,6%,8%,etc

ccbill get out of the 1990s and offer ACH direct deposit to your clients & affiliates.

Would ACH and Direct Deposit reduce a lot of chargebacks and refunds?

WOuld it make customers feel more safe about their transactions?

Nothing can be concluded from such a small amount of sales. Hell you can hardly get any solid realiable data from 2 sales a DAY. Just because you had 2 sales this week does not mean there was something wrong last week. You could go another 2 weeks without a single sale. That just means that your average is 1 sale every 2 weeks (or worse).
