Am I The Only One Who Thinks This About Barack Obama?
When he was running I thought he was interesting, cool, and just might possibly be the breath of fresh air we needed.
Now I kinda feel like he hates our country and would love to sabotage it. Am I the only one who feels this way? |
He doesn't hate our country. He bought a hot dog in Ottawa. Still, Mitt Romney would NEVER leave the safety of his bullet proof car to buy a sausage.
Mitt (what a fucking name...) is humourless and spineless. He is dead on the doorstep. I'm Canadian. Who cares what I think. I would vote for Bill Clinton BECAUSE he got his dick sucked. When Obama gets his dick sucked by someone NOT name Michelle - only then will he be a world leader. You fucking people are too religious - and too uptight. You are idealogically closer to Muslims and Jews than you are to your Allies. America is as fanatically religious as Israel and Iran are. Stupid and useless. Deal with it. BTW... Its too hard to type an opinion with some bullshit FTV Girls flashing thier tits below the text box. FTVGirlStream - sign up and make money! Yay! If I have to reply to posts with seizure inducing flash banners constantly going off on my screen - this is what you get. Its the post that you deserve, but its not the post you need right now... So you will hunt me.... because I can take it. Edit: I have watched this movie about 30 times. And I am going to watch it again. Lighten the fuck up. Goodnight. Heath FTW! |
I still like Obama.
But I am not American :) |

And before pastormoronalot comes in here ranting and raving like a wannabe Lawrence Taylor wasted on crack about racism... I don't give a fuck what his skin color is, where he was born or wasn't, or what his real name is or isn't... Obama was NEVER, EVER fit to become president. I personally cannot fathom how he ever got elected in the first place. He most certainly wasn't even close to being qualified to 'run' this country. Not then, and damn sure not now. But then, the American people as a whole are a bunch of spineless moronic fucking retards who think one person is going to come flying in and become their savior. At the end of the day though, the president is just a public figurehead for the company/people who got him in to office anyway; so it doesn't really matter who gets elected. The nominees will tell the spineless moronic fucking retarded public what they want to hear, the spineless moronic fucking retarded people will eat that shit up and believe every word of it, and the cycle continues. As for me, I left the US in the late 90's and never looked back. I much prefer everywhere I have lived since, considering that I've never had as much freedom in the US as I have now. That and I'm exempt from paying the tax man, so that's a bonus. |
Unfortunately not.

It was like something was in the water.. I was so against him but ended up voting for him.

America is in the same hole many are in, some deeper and some not so deep. Ultimately living and spending beyond our means. How many of you have very low outgoings, $0 debt and more coming in than you're spending? Then look at the interest you're paying servicing the debt. Now imagine online porn was banned by Visa and MC from June 1st. Or they passed a lw making the payment of porn online illegal like they did with gambling. Or your wife has a terrible accident and then you discover you have life threatening cancer and even though you both survive, one of you can't work again and the other has no appetite to continue in the higher paying profession of porn production without her husband. All far fetched, but it can happen. :winkwink: That brings the problem America and most of the West faces today, into perspective. Except it was "An accident waiting to happen." While the rich filled their pockets gambling with the rest of the populations wealth. Living on debt is great. Until "Shit Happens." |

I spend (and save) what I actually have, don't spend what I don't. Same for my business. And I don't live in, or really care about what happens in the US anymore. One of the best decisions I ever made was leaving. And now I travel and do pretty much whatever it is I want to do. If the porn industry went tits up tomorrow, I'd find a way to come out ahead. Always have and always will. I'm not saying that I'm prepared for any and every situation but ever since I lost my kids prematurely and I realized that god is a myth, there is only one thing in this entire universe that I rely on and have faith in, and that's myself. And I have yet to let myself down. |
Everybody has different opinions. You are not the only one that is thinking about that person. They try to get informed as best as they can. Ideally, they try to decrease their debt.

I will be voting for him again.

As long as I make money I give a fuck who the president is

I think Obama is the right man at the right time. He's an excellent president of this country, the best in years. He will be re-elected because the alternative is unthinkable. A few of you sound like you form your opinions based on Fox news or some of the asshats that do not have a clue. I'd advise you to educate yourself and stop parroting these right wing nut jobs. If you think the Republicans are telling you the truth, you are basically an idiot. The facts are out there, Google them. The Republicans are very eager for you to forget just what all they have done to ruin this country and approve their future plans to finish it off. We're no longer number one anymore and that's very sad.
|
I love when they call him an extreme leftist.he is moderate Republican at best. In fact Reagan would thrown out of the party today.they have gone so extreme
|
You're not alone. You and every other misinformed mouthbreather thinks he's Hitler reincarnated. Go watch some more Glenn Beck. Like somebody else said: he's a Centre-right Republican at best. Shit, Dwight Eisenhower was more liberal than Obama.

We?re going to close the unproductive tax loopholes that allow some of the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share. In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, buthain practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and that?s crazy. [...] Do you think the millionaire ought to pay more in taxes than the bus driver or less? Reagan said this in 1985 ,no calls of class welfare. It was considered common sense
|
Obama is a better speaker and therefore slightly less embarrassing than Bush. But as far as I can tell that is pretty much the only improvement.
|
He's out for himself. If he wasn't I wouldn't trust him cause it's unnatural not to be. Problem with Romney and any Republican is that their common interests are not in sync with yours no matter how they try and spin it. If you make under 10 million dollars a year and you vote republican you are a fucking retard. It's pretty simple math.
I guess to sum it up and use a cliche, he's the lesser of the evils |

This, I think, is the basic difference between conservatives and progressives. Progressives look at what's wrong and try to improve things. Witness their attempt to completely replace the entire healthcare system with a proposal that was not only untested, but unread. They were pushing to throw out everything they could about the current system, replacing it with a bill THEY HADN'T EVEN READ. Apparently they thought ANYTHING must be better than the American system. Conservatives see that improvements need to be made, but say "don't throw the baby out with the bath water". Conservatives look at what made this country great, quoting Lincoln and Jefferson. Liberals are more inserted in new ideas being tasted in Europe. As Obama's spiritual advisor said, "Not God bless America, God DAMN America!" Both points of view are valuable. Remodeling is good sometimes. When you remodel, it's best to save the best stuff, not bulldoze the whole building and everything in it. "God damn America!" "It's time to remake America" - yeah he kind of does hate it, so he wants to fix it by turning it into France. |

I will weigh in on this thread when I am done watching this fascinating programming called 700 Club to learn more about how this country can improve by going back to biblical times.
Can't quite tell if the guy on my TV is a talking corpse. |

On policy, read possibly the most influential conservative work on healthcare, "Ronald Reagan Speaks Out Against Socialized Medicine". The republicans did spend several years discussing alternatives to Hillarycare. Contrast several years of discussing proposals versus liberals who bent the rules to avoid posting their bill for the required 48 HOURS. One viewpoint is let's discuss and find the best options. The other us "change the system, change it now, change everything, and later we can find out what we changed". Or, as Speaker Pelosi pit it it, "we have to pass the bill so you can find out what's in it". That's the point - the Obama / Pelosi perspective is that the country sucks, so let's change everything, no need to even read the bill because they dislike the existing American way enough. The charge against conservatives is that they are "obstructionist" - they don't want to change anything until there's a ) a good reason b) a better alternative and c) plenty of discussion to find the best options. As a said, both perspectives are valuable and mixing them together you get "make changes, after checking that the changes will be IMPROVEMENTS, not just change for the sake of change." |

When I speak, I talk about the law of supply and demand. I point out that it is hypocritical to hate the "supply" side of the porn industry when the people sitting in church - those listening to me talk - have so much involvement in the "demand" side of porn. They may not pick up a camera, but they are just as involved in the business if they are looking at it. That's a truth nobody can argue with. And anonymous surveys show that 90% of the men in church and 70% of the women in church look at porn. And 50% of pastors admit to looking at it during the last 30 days alone (when they can remain anonymous). I also point out that it was love that changed me and made me want to leave, not hatred and judgment. Jesus loves the porn producer just as much as he loves a pastor, soccer mom, liar, thief or prostitute. We are all the same to Him: just people who need Him to save us from the mess we've made of our lives. My guess is that his brother listened to these points and let the information sink in and realized it was the truth, so he probably decided to stop being judgmental and just love the man regardless of what he does for a living, because sin is sin to God. There are not "levels". And one brother can't possibly claim to be sin free while the other is sinful. ^^^ That's the message I share at churches all over the world ^^^ |
