Any whiskey drinkers?
 

I got this bottle in the mail today as a gift...all the reviews ive found online are really positive

Anyone enjoy this?

Whiskey is whiskey, it will get your drunk. Hold your nose and drink enough of it and you might as well be drinking cat piss. Before you know it? It tastes like water... until you throw up.

Tried this last night and loved it. Aged in Rum casks.

I am not going to be any help either - I only drink the stuff if I want to beat someone up - It makes me seriously violent.

I know some people treat it like wine though.

Never tried it.. ive always found Irish Whiskey too light in taste.. I prefer Islay Malts, or a nice bourbon to accompany a good cigar. Both always neat.. But should be a good sipping whiskey judging by the reviews. Someone will smack you though if you put it in coffee.

I am trying to like Whiskey but I haven't found anything I really like yet. I prefer sweeter booze like Southern Comfort.

Most Whiskey fucks me up but CC is OK for some reason.

Burbon Whiskey. My Kentucky house is in the middle of the "whiskey trail" with a half dozen distilleries within 5-20 minutes of my house.

After touring the Jim Beam distillery in Happy Hollow, Kentucky and the Jack Daniels plant in Lynchburg, Tennessee...nothing beats having a free sample of sour mash bourbon straight from the keg at 10am. :thumbsup

Club is a Rye Whiskey, maybe certain malts or compounds from other whiskeys give different reactions.

I know different beers do different things to me, some no hangover, some always, and things like that. Most beer makes me lively and in a good mood then a tired crash.

I only like single malts without mixers. Especially when I've got a cold.

I love the medicinal tastes of some whiskeys... haven't had a bad whiskey from Isle of Islay yet!!! God himself must have crapped on that island or something, magic! Bowmore, Lagavulin, Laphroaigh, Caol Ila, Ardbeg, It's on my list of places to visit next year!

Had a friend in town and we had a 25yr old Macallan last Friday after a day skiing..... not sure it was worth th $50 per nip.
