Got this from Paxum:

Transfers from checking to card and from card to checking are currently suspended because we are conducting a maintenance update.

We do not have an exact time of when this situation will be solved. We estimate that you will be able to use this service in a few hours.

wky 07-18-2013 06:46 AM

Same shit here. It seems to be an old problem with Paxum service. From time to time they go under unannounced maintenance updates and all the transfers are blocked for hours or even for a whole day. Just another Paxum success story...

stevebkk 07-18-2013 06:51 AM

It was going to be a few hours....8hrs ago

RuthB 07-18-2013 06:52 AM

We apologize for any inconvenience. As stated we are conducting a maintenance update and as a result transfers between Paxum checking and Paxum Mastercard are temporarily unavailable.

Please note: During this maintenance all Paxum Mastercards will continue to work as normal for withdrawals and purchases, it is only transfers between checking and Mastercard that are currently affected.

As soon as our tech department have completed these updates the transfer feature will be reactivated and service will return to normal. Thank you for your patience while we conduct this necessary work.

wky 07-18-2013 07:02 AM

Why don't let clients know about these maintenance updates first? Wouldn't be easier for you and for us?

Paxum haven't disabled the card number? Might be a good idea or your money will just keep disappearing.

They should be able to block debts from the card while you receive refunds?

Not your week is it?

Surely Paxum has to cover the funds this time? I wonder where your card details have been listed for them to be hammered so hard.

@OP - I find it more frustrating that they provide zero announcements about maintenance (more likely bug or something broke) and then there are zero updates on completition.

That means the only way we find out about it is when we hit errors on a transfer or people complaining about it on forums.

I'm confident it will be fixed, however I still find it very frustrating that I have to contact them to find out what the problem is, rather than them provide the information - feels dishonest that they try to sweep things under the carpet.

Paxum sure seems to like to do maintenance.
Can I suggest some scheduled maintenance and some preventive maintenance?

It isn't maintenance, this falls on a day that heaps of money would be in their account, right before a weekend.

I guarantee it will not be fixed until after the weekend. Gives them enough time to make a few bob playing a few money markets or whatever else the ywill do with our money.

The temptations of the flesh are weak, when one holds monies for over a week,

one becomes close to those monies, one developes relations with those monies,

one does not want to part ways with those monies,

those monies are hypnotic, and have you doing things you maybe should not do with the monies

Hopefully soon you will all be reunited with your precious monies, and hold your monies tight and tell your monies you never want to be without your monies again

crowgrey 07-19-2013 07:28 AM

Transfers from Checking to Mastercard are now fully operational.

Unfortunately transfers from Mastercard to Checking are still offline. We will continue working on this issue until it is fixed.

Please go ahead and transfer your funds from Checking to Mastercard now if you wish to so that you can access your funds via ATM or POS.

Thanks again for your continued patience.

AdultKing 07-19-2013 08:35 AM

Be aware that transfers aren't free as Ruth promised.

No they aren't free right now. If you read my original statement regarding it you'd understand. I'll repeat it for you here so hopefully it's clear for you;

We will provide free transfers from checking to MasterCard for a week once our service is fully operational

At the current time only Transfers from checking to Mastercard are up, and transfers from Mastercard to Checking are still affected. Therefore our service is not currently fully operational.

A more humble reply would have been more suiting.
