This is likely true (for this banner). Ugly banners with several different stock fonts
and "tumblr style" gif animation is what gets the high CTR, these days. I constantly
split test the beautiful banners our designers make, against that of my own frankenstein
banners and the CTR on my banners is significantly higher. Pretty dating/cams banners
just don't cut it, for myself and the affiliates I work with.

Unbranded, ugly and animated. That is the current standard.
