Yes I spoke to someone (wont say here if an agent or not) of course the FSC hasnt said anything but they will stumble in and fuck up, no doubt.

I've talked to one agent. It was their efforts (three agents in particular) that lead to the speedy quarantine of 14 persons. Word is male talent had a positive test, then a negative one, and this is the third one...and the final test is due in Tuesday afternoon.

If it is positive, I'm assuming we'll be shut down for a few weeks minimum?

Testing is great - it is the temple of this biz. Should be handled as such.

That was fast. Makes you wonder how many cases never saw the light because they were treated quietly elsewhere.

UPDATE:

I spoke with an agent who gave me all the latest here’s whats happening:

A male performer tested positive for Syphilis, he immediately made a list of everyone he had worked with and called his agent and notified the agent. LATATA (The association of talent agencys) immediately (even though Derek is on vacation in Mexico) got together and notified the exposed persons (except for two which I will explain) and even stopped two shoots that were in progress. As of that point nobody who was exposed is working and the guy is being retested to rule out a false positive. Results will be known tomorrow.

Kudos to the guy, he absolutely handled this professionally Mister Marcus could take lessons here! Also kudos to LATATA for acting quickly to contain the situation and being straight forward about what was and is being done.

There are two girls who were possibly exposed who are known only to one particular company and that company has so far chosen not to participate and co-operate with LATATA on this…..more will come if this doesnt get resolved.

I am told that if the test comes back positive there will be a statement by the male performer, good for him, he has handled this situation perfectly and he will have my support and I expect that of the industry.

The FSC has not and I am told will not be involved in this (which is why it is being handled so well)

I know this guy personally very well. Good solid responsible person who would never lie or put others at risk.


With what I know, I will go out on a limb and I will put down Money that, this person got a false/positive test result from one of the 2 tests. (One test was positive/One was negative)

Facts: He/she tested 10 days ago clean, He/she absolutely doesn't sleep around, (Has a Non-Industry Girl, girlfriend), and he only did 3 scenes on that test, where all the people in that scene also had 14 day tests.


This person is as solid as solid gets and did the absolute right thing by notifying the right people minutes after knowing what he/she knew about his/her test results. Could have said nothing and retested and if clean nobody would have known. His/Her actions speak volumes in my book. Especially with the other selfish choices this person could have made.


We will know for sure tomorrow.



And lastly, it was not on my set.

3 tests were taken.


2 out of the 3 were Negative.


The TREP, detected traces of something, that is triggering it as "reactive/Inconclusive."

The people at TTS told him that they are very confident that the TREP is a false positive, but for absolute safety reasons, This person should take a week off and will be retesting in 7 days.


He has been very responsible and forthright with information that can, (If he actually was infected), save other performers from possible infections and syphilis spread.

ask them they issued a statement yesterday with no information in it except to say that they had everything under control (they dont, they are being shut out of it)

I commend Clover for coming forward with his test results.

AHF (Aids Healthcare Foundation) is calling around and any director or company that shot him in the last 30 days should call their legal council and be prepared for a full scale investigation.

I have personally gone through three investigations in the last year. One by LAPD, one by LA County and one by CAL-OSHA and been cleared each time.

If you did shoot him take my advice and get an attorney experienced in this matters like the one I use, Mike Fattorosi.

Just got the news that Clover got his last confirmatory test back today and this test confirms that he was not positive for Syphilis at all.

Thats good news all the way around, and the story ends well including the fact that a situation like this was finally handled properly and there were no negative repercussions anywhere
