Owner of Livejasmin is now the richest guy in Hungary

The new Forbes stats came out, he is now the first. The second is the owner of the Hungarian National Bank.

http://kep.cdn.index.hu/1/0/711/7110...c8c55c5_wm.jpg

I guess I'm kinda proud, he started from scratch, and I guess i'm proud of that fact I was there when it's started.
I really should write a book about how Livejasmin became what it is today :2 cents:

AdultKing 11-05-2014 02:01 AM

Profits largely derived by supporting pirate web sites, that's nothing to be proud of.

SylviaMaroon 11-05-2014 02:02 AM

what do you mean?

SylviaMaroon 11-05-2014 02:02 AM

profits comes from horny men and women who are willing to spend money to watch webcam shows..

AdultKing 11-05-2014 02:03 AM

We have been asking for LiveJasmin to cut ties with PlanetSuzy for more than two years and they refuse.

That's just one of hundreds of examples I could cite off the top of my head.

Of the 42,000 piracy source sites we have indexed, 35% of them have LiveJasmin as a sponsor.

Zsófia Hajdú knew all about the relationships between the company and sites like PlanetSuzy and Intporn. Also knew about the thousands of piracy source sites who were direct or indirect affiliates of the program.

livejasmin.com has around 15k domains linking to it, jasmin.com has around 4k domains linking to it. Many of these are piracy related.

If they don't do it, somebody else will, that's the reality of it. And as long as what they do is *somewhat* legal, at the very least in their country of residence, I seriously don't see a problem.

Don't get me wrong, I fully sympathize with everyone who opposes any kind of piracy sites. But you can't put the shit back into the horse, and as long as there are loopholes in the law to allow it, this situation isn't going anywhere any time soon.

I've been 100% moral and ethical for most of my years in this industry. I've turned down generous job offers from companies I found fishy and I've rejected advertisers on ADX, who were willing to pay multiples of the asking price for the ads, solely for the reason that they were doing shit which was detrimental to the industry as a whole. I ain't got jack shit to show for that, never paid my rent, never put food on my table. And when I got burned out and sick and couldn't make money for a couple of years, no one sent me any as "thanks" for doing the right thing.

Again, as I said, I really sympathize with everyone's efforts to "cure" the industry of these bottom feeders, but I consider that to be a losing battle. So since this situation doesn't seem to change any time soon, I might as well make money off of it, as everyone else seems to do. At the end of the day, we're all in this for the money, not for being ethical and noble.

Our understanding is that it's not legal and we're approaching it as such.

I understand people need to make a buck and I also understand that having a firm ethical standpoint on these issues is not going to pay the bills for most people. That said, I am dedicated to pursuing these industry vampires so my position will differ from many in the industry and I am fine with that.

Companies like Exoclick, Duodecad IT Services (Jasmin) and those like them will see action taken against them eventually, at some point they will have to pay. It may not happen this year and it may not happen next year but I am sure it will happen. Meanwhile we're building our files of evidence and patiently waiting for the right time.

I wish you the best of luck and I truly hope you get enough results in order to make a dent in the current state of the industry. But it is my firm belief that you're playing whack-a-mole.

Well said. I know when I get better and start working again after dealing with my own health issues that i'll care much less about some of the ethical issues which burdened me before I got sick.

If you go back 15 years people used to have a higher moral as far as what was accepted and what wasn't. At that time mainstream used to copy adult. Now it appears like adult is copying mainstream. Peoples moral standpoints have taken a huge drop, I think its partially because there is less and less "pornographers" running the show now, todays successful companies is running based on stats and whats allowed by the law. A lot of people who is not willing to go the extra steps they would legally be allowed to do is being left behind :2 cents:

At least that's my observation

yeah ... and here we go, if you do not work with thieves and pirates, you cannot be big. now, if you work with them, it is possible you become big, and when you are big, everyone just wish you luck and is licking your balls, but it does not matter that the adult industry, you are parasiting on, is going deep because you are supporting to be all the content the industry is producing free for everyone, and the only thing that left to be paid is your cam service ... seriously, how can someone from adult business have respect to this? :2 cents: money talks, shit walks, and this is adult 2014, oh yeah, i am at home now ... :upsidedow :Oh crap

TeenCat 11-05-2014 05:44 AM

he knows he is supporting thieves, he do nothing about it, still taking traffic from thieves, you work with thieves, you are helping thieves to make money, you are nothing else than thief yourself ... :2 cents:

Yeah they even dominate now harder, you must work with them even if you just want to make some minimum money.Ok,you can promote "clean" micro niche sites which are not affiliated with piracy in any way,but that is not for everyone.

I wouldn't be so sure. Content theft was just as widespread as it is now. The only difference is that back then it was primarily pictures. The Hun started his site by backdooring AVS sites, how's that for morals? Yet nowadays he preaches about legal content and condemns the tubes. And how about the tons of webmasters pushing auto-installing dialers, which hi-jacked the phone line? You and I both pushed dialers back in the day. I never pushed the nasty ones, but maybe you did? Not accusing you of anything, I just know that many old timers did and nowadays, if they're still around, claim they're clean and have always been.

Also, lots of sponsors were doing shady shit with cross-sales, one-click upsells and whatnot. Some of them even got busted and had to pay sizable fines. And let's not even get into the rampant e-mail spam, advertising porn sites.

My point is, morals were by no means any better back then, especially since the Internet was pretty much still the Wild West. It's just changed between then and now. Morals are no worse, they've just taken a different form of being expressed. Just because you don't remember the shit that was going on back in the day doesn't mean it stunk any less.

SylviaMaroon 11-05-2014 06:06 AM

I guess this is what made it possible, grabbing each and every opportunity, don't care about morals, just aim to be the biggest.
