Stay away from the big shows and Patong is shithole do it once, then get out.

If I ever go to Thailand, I would probably not come back.

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately, I am tied to schedules on this trip, so its kind of hard to get away :winkwink: Been to Thailand twice before, love it here and I dont mind Patong, but its like a 50 minute cab ride from here. Also, I love street food :thumbsup

I love Thailand. Loved it so much I stayed for a month instead of a week. One of the best trips I have taken. Enjoy everyone.

There are two types of people who eat South East Asian street food:

1) Those with an iron stomach.
2) Those who have no idea of how sick they can get from eating it.

I'm guessing your one of the first group. :thumbsup

Most Thais I know get food poisoning fairly often from eating that stuff. Gotta be careful what food you actually get from those street cars.
