If the street gangsters looked more professional cops wouldn't pull them over so much. But, I'm not sure if it's the suit that gets them respect or their reputation in our culture. High level organized crime is portrayed as glamorous.

I used to get pulled over for fake reasons when I was younger and I probably looked like a criminal. They'd give reasons like you didn't use your blinker when you switched lanes. Now that I'm older and don't draw attention to myself I haven't been pulled over in almost 10 years. Maybe just a coincidence though.
