Republican Rand Paul announces 2016 presidential run on website

nice! i like the early announcement.
|
Jeb will take it.
|
...yikes

The carnival is in town?

The head of pin dance floor is all set. Let the mad jigging begin.

It seems an early announcement gives them a little bump in their numbers.
I don't think Cruz or Paul has a change. I think this will be all Bush and perhaps Walker. |
So the Republican party is really trying for the Minority vote this time..
They have Cruz the Canadian/Hispanic Jindal the Hispanic Jesus nut Paul the white crazy nut Bush the Mexican.. This is going to be as big of a circus as last time.. We just need the Mormon & the Pizza guy to fill it in.. Welcome to the Ringling Republican Circus, they already have the Elephant.. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh |
I predict it will come down to Jeb Bush and Paul Walker, and that Jeb Bush will win the nomination.
Then of course he will lose to Hillary. |
I would vote fore Paul before any of the others. Too bad elections are rigged by the system and the media. Your vote for American Idol means more than the US presidential elections.
|
Isn't he a Young Earth Creationist?

Even still, Bush is not likely to sit in the White house.. Considering the last two Bushes put us in wars and doubled the deficit. He doesn't stand much chance and he's not crazy enough for the new Republican base. I don't like Hillary, but I think she would fairly easily walk away with it. However she will bring with her a lot of Republican Rage.. They just can't stand the Clintons.. and I really do not think a Bush vs Clinton election is what this country needs. IMO both are doing the wrong thing by trying to run if they run.. Both bring too much political baggage with them which further separates the country. |
We need an independent president. Someone who has the ability to think for themselves. I have had enough with both Republicans and Democrats.

You could be right, but Bush jr was not responsible for 9/11. Yes, he was a dipshit, but the blame for 9/11 and the following action lays squarely on clinton's shoulders. OBL could have been taken out years before 9/11 if Mr Clinton had a ball sack that wasnt being caressed by an intern or common hooker. The major pass the he(clinton) is given to 9/11 and the subsequent collapse of the US economy is quite hilarious to me. |

He's the least foaming at the mouth idiot in the Republican field.

I can just imagine it:
The Great Email Debate of 2016 :helpme BushIII/ClintonII Political Dynasties Suck like Movie and TV spin-offs do ... Need Proof ? ME #3 http://www.indiavision.com/news/imag...-Jong-Un-1.JPG hotlinked img |
You're fucking nuts if you think Clinton was to blame for 9/11. Which is paraphrasing you. He begged the congress to allow wiretapping of terror suspects and they refused to pass that into law. It's public record for fuck sakes. Clinton was responsible for loading up the treasury though so that dip fuck Bush could spend it all on his stupid bullshit war in Iraq that was proposed before the fucking rubble stopped smoking.
Congrats again to Rand Paul for announcing early. Not that anyone forgot the thread topic or anything! |

Clinton, in 2001, on bin Laden: 'I could have killed him' |

I think that by Far, Jeb is the best bet for republicans. He seems smarter than the rest and certainly looks presidential. If republicans win in 2016, I would hope that Rand Paul would be the winner before any of the others. Sometimes Randal seems to say things that make sense. |
Guys, I don't think that killing Bin Laden would have changed a whole lot of events.
Remember...the U.S. Navy Seals finally killed him a few years ago. Is the world safe? Do less people hate us now? Are there less "terrorist" threats? The way to stop all the problems is simple: The bureaucrats in Washington D.C. need to stop trying to run every other country in the world. A large majority of the world HATES the United States. That is the fault of decades of power hungry bureaucrats in Washington. The U.S. foreign policy that they set up after WW2 has led to all of this. And it isn't going to stop by killing one guy (as we've already seen). Or even killing all their "leadership" (how many times have we been told that all the leadership of the "terrorists" have been killed?). You can't kill an idea by killing people. It never works and never will. We need to CHANGE U.S. foreign policy. Get our troops OUT of all the countries that we are in. Stop bombing sovereign nations and ordering them about like they are our slaves. |

You're not American? As for Rand Paul....... If I could vote, he gets my vote but there's every chance of another Bush getting into office and that could be another disaster. |
@Robbie- which countries do you think have a foreign policy that works better than the USA?

I would vote Rand Paul because I'm hoping that, like his father, he would focus on internal issues and his foreign policy would be very much non-interventionist. |
Reagan trained and funded bin Laden but its Clintons fault.

I hate glenn beck- I dont care for shawn hannity(or whatever his name is) dont particularly care for Rush limbaugh(dont even know if he has a radio show anymore). Anyone that says something you dont agree with you lump into a rightwing nut category. Hence the problem with the country. People are so easily brainwashed in our society and politics has turned into a sporting event. You chose this side and I chose the other then we call eachother names. Meanwhile we let "our guy" get away without doing his job. I feel sorry for you.

Or "sanctions" against other countries that only hurt the actual citizens of those countries while making their bad leaders even more popular for standing up to "the evil United States". If nothing else...one only has to look at the RESULTS of our decades of that kind of "foreign policy" (basically since the end of WW2) and realize it ain't working. I don't care what the original INTENT of our foreign policy was (if anyone can even remember anymore)...what counts is the RESULT of it. And from what I see...the world is as dangerous as ever, poverty is still a worldwide problem, the U.S. is killing people with our military yet again (haven't seemed to really stop since WW2). If that is the U.S. being the "world leader" (not sure why the "world" would ever want that)...then it's time to rethink things in my opinion. |
