A good smartphone ?

I'm not really a hardcore user of mobile applications, so what's a good smartphone at a price that is not so high (no crappy stuffs)

mineistaken 06-28-2015 06:45 PM

EliteWebmaster 06-28-2015 06:52 PM

Fanboy #2 just arrived, iphone 6 :laughing-

But if you are looking for an economical phone, then go with the:
http://www.goophoneshops.com/image/c...er-500x579.jpg
Goophone I6 - Official Goophone Shop

It's the best of both worlds. Android operating system mimicking IOS 8 and it's a Iphone 6 clone.

All for $229
And you can even request that your phone has the "Apple" logo on the back with the Apple box :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

:thumbsup

You Isheep can not even read.

And by the way quite a few comes close and surpass it. Same S6 as an example.

pornmasta 06-28-2015 07:15 PM

What about a "Samsung Galaxy Core" ?

As small as possible but still big enough to be useful without a magnifying glass.

SilentKnight 06-28-2015 07:25 PM

If you're not into cutting edge pricing - I'd shop around for a Samsung Galaxy 4. Most places give them away at bargain basement prices with a mobile contract. They're fast, reliable...have a helluva good cam...good battery life.

I got a nice Sony xperia z3 off eBay new for $300. 21 MP camera, waterproof and supports my 128 gig SD cards. Also takes dual Sim cards which is great for travelling or having personal and business line on the same phone.

Some people here can't read.

If you aren't a hardcore app you could go with a Lumia. Wait for the new models supporting Continuum though.

AdultB2B 06-29-2015 12:00 AM

I'm really happy with my iPhone 6 plus.

However it's still a bit pricey as is the 6.

Samsung has some nice phones that cost less.

Do you like the side (edge) screen? I am thinking about maybe purchasing one.

Got mine on thursday and love it. Not yet fully set up everything, but performance, features and design are outstanding. It wins all tests and that for a good reason. If you have the cash get it :-)

Do you have issues with that flappy bit on the side that covers the usb? I always worry it's going to pop open and water would flood in.

davidclickpapa 06-29-2015 03:43 AM

samsung galaxy S(any number above 3). heard htc is good too, i've never used them.

emmasexytime 06-29-2015 03:56 AM

Just go to the shop and try a few of them.

baggg 06-29-2015 03:59 AM

samsung galaxy s4 or s4 mini, you can get an unlucked one on ebay for 100-150 eur, or htc one m7 for a bit more

Absolutely. Even though I'm upgrading to the S6 Edge tomorrow, I can attest that the S4 was a fantastic phone for the last two years. My buddy has an S5 which he also loves. I'd go for the better deal of the two depending on what you can find.

michal 06-29-2015 05:04 AM

+1 for any samsung model which you can afford with your budget

bronco67 06-29-2015 05:08 AM

Looks like some people here have some serious problems with reading. It does not surprise me.

Manfap 06-29-2015 05:30 AM

There are low price samsungs for 100 euros that work fine.
Teléfono móvil Samsung Galaxy Trend Lite GT-S7390 4GB Color blanco - Smartphone - nuevos o de segunda mano - Compra venta PDA & Smartphone : con Fnac

84 euros.

I refuse to buy my kid more expensive phones, he always breaks them.

I'm thinking about going prepaid when my current contract expires. Tired of being screwed over with high bills when I hardly use the thing. I have a Samsung Galaxy tab s tablet and a nice PC. The only use I need for my smart phone is to check the web and weather when I'm out..

Anyways here is the phone I might go with for $99 Samsung Galaxy J1 It even comes with the latest Android Lollipop 5.0.2. I thought about the Moto E but it only comes with 4.6... Edit it looks like Moto E is now running on 5.0

I find it funny how everyone overlooks Motorola, their Droid Turbo is a great deal at $99 with a two year commitment, they even got the cool color accents now. The batter is awesome, the phone is powerful, and Motorola has amazing antenna technology. Look up some reviews on it, you'll be amazed. I know the battery life isn't as long as they say and it's been a step down from the Maxx, but it still gets me through every day and with the Lollipop update, they predict it'll get better.

My LG Optimus is great, and it was free. :upsidedow

Slick 06-29-2015 09:45 AM

ALSO, one good thing about the Droid Turbo, they have a one year warranty on the screen, if it breaks, they replace the phone, no questions asked.
