Men and long hair
 

Nothing against that in general, but some styles makes me wonder.

Is this just ridiculous appearance for attention grabbing or is this supposed to be stylish or good looking or whatever positive?

Sometimes when I see some creature like that it makes me wonder that - if he is "rebelling" or if he is thinking that he looks good.

It has some entertainment factor, for sure.

If you're a male with long hair and women don't regularly make favorable comments, you're doing it wrong.

I just shaved off my perfectly good head of hair recently, so I can't relate.

Thru history long hair on men has had more positive than negative characteristics. Still does.

I'm with L-Pink on this. I've had long hair since middle/high school (19-20 years). Had ti short once in that span and let it grow back immediately. I just feel like I look better with long hair (my hair is a bitch and doesn't do anything but lay flat). In those 19-20 years, I've always--and still do--get compliments from women on my hair.

I used to have hair down to my ass,it got me a commercial.now it's short.I knda miss it

I don't understand men with long hair.... Never been my thing.

It's about being different, some people can't live without it. It's in their soul. Don't judge just let people be themselves.

i just cut my mid-back length hair completely off. My wife is happy and my grooming time has been cut in half. Miss the long haired look, but happy I cut it and will probably never grow it out again.

But still my question stands - while being different do they (like guy in OP) think they look good/appealing to women? Or they know that they do not look good, but just like being different?

They are fine as they hook up with girls who have made equally odd fashion choices.

Some women are drawn to the not giving a fuck attitude. Works great under 30 and then when they hit 30 they wonder why they got dumped

My old hair...

i've had long hair since high school. some girls loved it, some hated it but i didn't really care. all my heroes growing up had long hair..jimmy page, axl rose and i wanted it too but my parents wouldn't let me until i was in high school. while im long past that i can't imagine not having it. i suppose one day i might cut it off but for now, i still like it.

I only grew my hair long for a while back in college. I hated the high maintenance, though.
